At the Gallerie on the 2nd floor of Rustan's Makati, a thoughtfully curated collection of her timeless masterpieces was unveiled to the public.

To honor Criselda Lontok, the veteran Filipino fashion designer who dressed Manila's finest tastemakers on both local and international stages for over three decades, luxury retailer Rustan's and Lontok's family have collaborated to unveil the Criselda Retrospective.

A former model and beauty queen from Batangas, Lontok was mentored in fashion design by Gliceria Tantoco, the matriarch of luxury retailer Rustan&rsquo;s starting in the mid-1970s. She went on to start her own clothing line, which became one of the pioneering and top-selling brands at Rustan&rsquo;s for more than 30 years. Lontok&rsquo;s unique prints and designs were beloved by generations of women who favored loose, comfortable elegance.
At the heart of this celebrated brand was Criselda Lontok herself, who personally meticulously crafted silhouettes and oversaw the creation of her pieces. Throughout her career, she consistently demonstrated an enduring dedication to her artistry.

After Criselda passed away two years ago, she left behind an invaluable collection of her personal clothing and highly intricate haute couture masterpieces, each holding a significant place in her life's journey and the world of local fashion.

The Criselda Retrospective exhibit opened its doors on the 14th of September, offering an exclusive view of Criselda Lontok's enduring artistry. At the Gallerie on the 2nd floor of Rustan's Makati, a thoughtfully curated collection of her timeless masterpieces was unveiled to the public. Following the culmination of the week-long exhibit, Le&oacute;n Gallery is set to host the Criselda Retrospective Auction for an exclusive gathering of fashion enthusiasts and philanthropists alike. The proceeds from the event will be channelled towards Criselda's beloved charity, Bantay Bata 163.
