For Fall/Winter 2026, Zegna celebrates Su Misura as an experience where clothing becomes memory, identity, and heritage, made to endure through time and generations.

With Su Misura, its made-to-measure universe, Zegna imagines clothing as a form of transmission: a second skin shaped around a man, his character, his gestures, and ultimately, his story. For its Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, the Italian house chooses to tell this idea with an almost cinematic simplicity. Its global ambassador, Mads Mikkelsen, brings one of his jackets to the tailor to have it adapted for his son. The gesture is discreet, but its significance is immense. A piece designed for one man passes to another generation without losing what it carries within it: a memory, a bearing, a fragment of life. As though the garment, even before becoming an heirloom, had been conceived to become one.
At Zegna, made-to-measure is never simply a matter of taking measurements or making a succession of aesthetic choices. Su Misura is an experience: that of a wardrobe built entirely around the person who wears it, down to the smallest detail. A dedicated team interprets his silhouette, while a selection of exceptional fabrics and hundreds of personalization options make it possible to create a truly singular piece: buttons, linings, finishes, proportions… Every millimeter contributes to the final balance.

It is precisely in this obsession with detail that the tailor’s philosophy lies. A quarter of an inch, the slope of a shoulder, the roll of a lapel: nothing is insignificant. A seam can take hours, not because the person wearing the garment will necessarily notice it, but because he will feel that it is right. A life conceived in millimeters, where precision becomes a form of emotion.
At the heart of Su Misura, several pieces embody this heritage. First, Trofeo, the precious Zegna wool fabric created in 1965 at the Lanificio Ermenegildo Zegna. Made from superfine Australian merino wool, it has combined softness, strength, and durability for six decades. Then there is Abito n.1, inspired by the suits worn by the founder in the 1930s and considered Zegna’s first suit. Finally, the Falcon Jacket, born in Oasi Zegna, the 100-square-kilometer natural territory in the Italian Alps that remains at the heart of the house’s vision. Essential and functional, it draws its character from the bird of prey after which it is named, a symbol of the ability to perceive what escapes the eye.

But beyond materials and silhouettes, Zegna also outlines a certain idea of the man himself. The tailor does not simply create a beautiful suit: he shapes the shoulders that will carry a great story. He accompanies those moments when a life shifts—a marriage proposal, a speech, fatherhood—and knows that suspended moment when a man looks at himself in the mirror differently than before. It is precisely this silence that the tailor’s craft seeks to create. The instant when a garment ceases to be a garment and becomes the reflection of a new identity.
