The limited-edition Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse series introduces a reverse-running movement and a more personal approach to timekeeping.

Hublot teams up with The Hour Glass for the release of the Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse Special Editions, a new series limited to just 30 pieces per colorway.
Available in blue, green, and gray, the Retroverse collection takes a different approach to the idea of perfection. Instead of presenting time as something fixed and untouched, the watches lean into change, wear, and individuality.

Michael Tay describes the project as &ldquo;a study of personality and the flow of time.&rdquo; The titanium case is blackened and given an aged finish so that each piece develops its own character. The reverse-running movement also shifts the experience entirely, challenging the way people instinctively read time while adding a mechanical detail aimed at serious collectors.

The watch is built around a 42 mm brushed titanium case with a blackened, weathered treatment that gives it the feeling of an object that has already lived through time. At 10.4 mm thick, it still keeps the signature elements of the Classic Fusion line intact, including the six polished H-shaped titanium screws and anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The biggest change sits inside. Powered by the HUB1105 automatic movement, redesigned specifically to run counterclockwise, the watch operates with 63 components and 21 jewels at a frequency of 4Hz, with a 48-hour power reserve. More than a technical exercise, the reverse movement is meant to shift the wearer&rsquo;s relationship with time itself.

Julien Tornare says the project reflects the long-standing relationship between Hublot and The Hour Glass, built around &ldquo;absolute trust and the desire to push beyond limits.&rdquo; He also notes that collectors in the region have a strong appreciation for both mechanical complexity and experimental materials, making Retroverse a fitting tribute.

Each edition comes with a grained fum&eacute; dial and polished rhodium-plated hands, along with two straps, calf leather and alligator, both treated with the same aged effect and matched to the dial color. A black-coated stainless steel folding clasp completes the design.
Retailing at 16,900 SGD, the Classic Fusion Titanium Retroverse will be available exclusively through The Hour Glass boutiques in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
