The social media star takes on two distinct personas for this year’s Halloween festivities, drawing from the worlds of cinema and fantasy.

The exciting thing about Halloween is that it’s one of the rare celebrations that allows everyone to step into an entirely different character and indulge in a little creative reinvention. And when it comes to the season’s most anticipated celebrations, the country's stars certainly know how to make the most of it. Between Mond Gutierrez’s The New Nocturnals 2026: Silver Screen and Tim Yap’s Shake, Rattle, and Ball: LUCID, this year’s festivities brought an array of creative interpretations to the spotlight. And among those who stood out across both celebrations was Niana Guerrero, who arrived in two looks that showcased different sides of her style and personality.

For The New Nocturnals 2026, which took its cue from the theme “Silver Screen: The Director’s Cut,” Niana looked to 90s Asian cinema for inspiration. Her ensemble paid homage to the 1993 Chinese film “Farewell My Concubine”, reimagining its traditional aesthetic through a modern black cheongsam paired with crisp white pants. A traditional Chinese headpiece completed her look, bringing an added layer of cultural reference to her ensemble for the evening.

For this year’s Shake, Rattle, and Ball, the party’s revelers entered the dream realm with “LUCID: Dreams and Nightmares”. Exploring the surreal territory between fantasy and fear, the evening called for costumes that blurred the lines between the real and the imagined. Niana embraced the theme as a golden dragon warrior princess, trading her earlier cinematic elegance for a more fantastical look.
Whether drawing from the silver screen or venturing into fantastical creatures, Niana has proven once again that she never does Halloween halfheartedly. With two beautifully executed looks that each brought a different world to life, she continues to make the season her own. And if this year is any indication, we can only imagine what she has up her sleeve for next Halloween.
