The latest Bvlgari Bvlgari Aluminium models prove that luxury sports watches don't have to take themselves too seriously.

Few watches have challenged the conventions of luxury sports watchmaking quite like the Bvlgari Bvlgari Aluminium. When it debuted in 1998, the watch stood apart as it paired two materials rarely associated with high-end watchmaking: aluminum and rubber. This summer, the collection welcomes two new additions. One arrives in an all-white monochrome design, while the other features a sunburst blue dial and is limited to just 500 pieces worldwide. The release builds on a design language that dates back even further.

Introduced in 1975, the original Bvlgari Bvlgari drew inspiration from ancient Roman coins and the inscriptions found on classical architecture. Its double-logo bezel became one of the House's defining signatures, reflecting Bvlgari's unique position as both a Roman jeweler and a Swiss watchmaker.

The white monochrome version leans into simplicity. A 40mm sandblasted aluminum case is paired with a white rubber bezel, creating a clean and modern look. For those who prefer something bolder, the limited-edition blue-dial model offers a different mood altogether. The sunburst finish shifts with the light, recalling the changing colors of the Mediterranean Sea. Blue-coated markers and hands create strong contrast across the dial, while a red-tipped seconds hand adds a subtle touch of energy.
Both models are powered by the automatic B77 movement, featuring hours, minutes, a date display, and a 42-hour power reserve. Inside, Italian design meets Swiss engineering, a balance that has long defined Bvlgari's approach to watchmaking.

The aluminum and titanium construction keeps the watch remarkably lightweight without sacrificing durability, while 100 meters of water resistance makes it ready for everything from beach days to summer travel.
