Rihanna's red carpet look isn't her only statement-making moment of the night &mdash; she's also hosting the Met Gala's official after-party.

Rihanna and boyfriend A$AP Rocky were the final celebrities to hit the Met Gala red carpet, and they saved the best for last. Rihanna opted for a dramatic black Balenciaga overcoat designed custom by Demna Gvsalia. Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky joined her wrapped in a patchwork quilt by ERL.

In addition to attending the event, Rihanna will host the official 2021 Met Gala after-party. The star made the announcement earlier this week, posting an Instagram story of the invite with the caption, "If you planning a MET Ball after-party&hellip;&hellip;&hellip;&hellip;don&rsquo;t" written over the top.
Rihanna's own work will be on view in the Met's exhibition In America: A Lexicon of American Fashion making her the first pop star to have her designs exhibited in the museum. Her Savage x Fenty lingerie&nbsp;Savage Not Sorry Lace Bodysuit and Commitment Issues Fishnet Body Stocking are now officially a part of the Met's permanent collection.&nbsp;
The "Needed Me" singer has reached icon status at the Met Gala, creating unforgettable fashion moments like her golden Guo Pei cape, avant-garde Comme des Gar&ccedil;ons dress, and Margiela papal ensemble from 2018.
