Réparer's Keith Angelo returns with Pour L'Été, a love letter to the season's incomparable warmth.

“This collection was never even supposed to happen,”&nbsp;confesses Keith Angelo, the designer behind Réparer. “While revisiting old memories when I was starting out, I realized it would be meaningful to recreate my very first collection as an homage to my past self. In a way, it feels both new and familiar, a reflection of growth while still staying connected to where everything began.” 
I actually spoke to Angelo for the first time in 2018, back when she was busy with celebrity styling work and her then- fledgling label, Wearing Miss Keith, which has since been put to rest. Eight years and countless email exchanges later, I’ve noticed that one thing hasn’t changed: Angelo remains enamored by the idea of summer. The gauzy, vibrant sundresses from her former brand have evolved into the throw-on ease of Réparer’s light, comfortable tailoring.
“Summer has always been at the center of my creative language,” she confirms. “It marks a new season, new era, and a new collection for the brand, but still carries the same vision at its core.”
&nbsp;Let’s talk about Réparer’s latest collection. What were your inspirations for it?
Réparer Pour L’Été is inspired by European summers, tracing back to the first time I visited Europe three years ago during the same season. The warmth, the ease, and the effortless way people dressed instantly drew me in. This collection is a reflection of my roots as an artist and designer.
What piqued your fascination with the silhouettes, textures, and fabrics you used in this collection? What made you decide to use them?
Réparer Pour L’Été is made with lightweight and breathable fabrics, featuring graph and gingham prints alongside textured light poly wool. The collection was designed for warm weather while maintaining a refined and timeless feel.
These are easy pieces you can wear from day to night, whether you’re in the city, by the beach, or simply under the sun. I wanted people to feel stylish while staying comfortable, giving them the freedom to restyle, repair, and wear the pieces with confidence wherever they go. Versatility has always been important to the brand, and this collection stays true to that identity.

Could you tell us more about your brand and how it’s evolved through the years? What are your dreams for it?
Three years ago, during my first visit to Europe, the idea for the brand quietly began to take shape. But it wasn’t until 2024 that Réparer was actually born. The concept came alive through my experiences visiting thrift stores and vintage shops across Europe. Walking through those spaces, seeing the suits, blazers, and chemises, the smell of vintage fabric, the timeless tailoring, it gave me this rush to bring every piece home and share them with people who truly value caring for vintage garments and giving them a second life. 
In 2025, GB Samson joined as co-founder and with his vision, input, and support, Réparer officially launched its debut collection: blazers sourced from Europe and chemises crafted in my homeland, the Philippines, reflecting the Eurasian identity at the heart of the brand. Together, we brought the vision and identity of Réparer into its first collection.
The dream is for Réparer to grow bigger, while still remaining intentional and niche. I want it to feel available yet exclusive in its own way, like a brand for a certain audience, because the people who get it, get it. 
Could you tell us a little bit about your career background? 
I’ve been working as a fashion stylist since 2011, and I started designing clothes in 2012. In 2017, I launched my first clothing brand, although I eventually put it on hold to focus more on my styling career. Over the years, I’ve worked on various television shows, magazines, and TV commercials, and have had the opportunity to style beauty queens and celebrities. 
Those experiences helped shape my perspective on fashion, styling, and how people express themselves through clothing, which eventually led me to build Réparer.

How has your design perspective shifted or remained since your last release?&nbsp;
I think my perspective has become more open and personal. I used to be very focused on building the foundation of the brand through classic and structured pieces. Now, I still carry that same vision, but I’ve become more comfortable exploring softness, nostalgia, and emotion through the collections.
With Réparer Pour L’Été, I wanted things to feel lighter and more effortless while still keeping the timelessness of the brand. I’m still drawn to versatile pieces people can wear and restyle naturally, but now there’s more storytelling and personality behind them.
Your brand’s proudest moment so far?
One of the brand’s proudest moments so far is being featured in different articles and media platforms so early in its journey.
Seeing celebrities and media personalities wear Réparer has been very fulfilling. It also means a lot to receive recognition from people within the fashion and creative industry, especially fellow designers and creatives. For a young brand, having that kind of support and acknowledgment this early feels both surreal and motivating.&nbsp;

What are your long-term influences? 
For years, one of my biggest influences has been my experience as a stylist, constantly pulling out clothes, studying silhouettes, and understanding how people express themselves through fashion. The struggles I experienced as a young creative also shaped the way I approach design today. Now, having the freedom to create my own pieces and design with my own vision in mind feels very fulfilling. I’ve also always been inspired by classic black- and-white films, timeless dressing, and the elegance of past eras. Those influences continue to reflect in the way I design for Réparer today. 
What are your current influences?
What inspires me most lately is authenticity in dressing, when style feels natural rather than overly curated. I’ve also been revisiting archival fashion and older runway collections that focused more on craftsmanship and silhouette rather than trends.
