Celine's Autumn/Winter 2026 collection is all about quiet confidence.

Creative director Michael Rider is certainly hitting his stride with his Autumn/Winter 2026 collection for Celine. After laying the foundation across his first two collections, his third feels like a confident expression of his understanding of how women want to dress — and, more importantly, how they want to feel in their clothes. Here, the clothes speak for themselves.
“I love when messy, complex, layered inner lives come through underneath great clothes. Thinking about people with style who wear beautiful clothes in a personal way. People you want to look at, get close to, spend holidays with. People with flair. People with bite. Putting on clothes, a look, can change the day. Change how we walk and feel. I love that,” reads the show notes.
We can all agree that a great wardrobe starts with great clothes, and great clothes start with impeccable tailoring. Knee-grazing coats in an array of silhouettes — from sharp and slim to softly A-line — graced the runway, while pantsuits, fitted snugly through the bodice and kicking out into a subtle flare, brought a distinctly ‘70s sensibility.
But for all its focus on tailoring, there is nothing overly serious about the collection. The sense of play comes through in the accessories, where bowler and bucket hats lend an air of mystery, while padded scarves — wrapped around the neck and partly covering the face, or casually carried alongside a tote — add an effortless ease to the looks.
It is this balance between structure and spontaneity that makes the collection feel distinctly Celine. “Celine is a style: a mix of old and new that feels urgent and dreamy. Making the things we all dream of finding and wearing.” The fail-proof black-and-white palette is punctuated with pops of red, while unexpected leopard and checked prints bring a dose of personality.

Shot in Manila at the Philippines International Convention Centre, model Anna Buquid brings that spirit to life. Against the stark, brutalist architecture, the considered shapes and silhouettes are given room to shine, while Buquid’s distinctive presence adds a sense of individuality to the collection — a fitting expression of Celine’s quiet confidence.

Tell us more about your modelling journey.
My modelling journey has been quite odyssean&nbsp;[laughs]. I started as a young teen doing lots of runway, and as the years passed, I moved into editorial, experienced different cultures, tried out some commercial work, stayed true to my form and naturally attracted creatives I align with. Along the way, I also found my way into contributing to the communities around me, especially those connected to fashion — through things like my art film screenings with Cinema Silencio and as an ally to the Elephant Party, where people just dress up! I love that modelling has allowed me to explore so many different sides of creativity.

What’s been a highlight in your career so far?
It’s definitely my role in a feature film titled&nbsp;FILIPIÑANA, directed by Rafael Manuel. A film for the art-house baddies. “Uncompromisingly avant-garde” is the easiest way to describe it. I’ve seen it multiple times, and I still go home with something new each time. It was such a special experience to be part of something so unconventional and imaginative. Hope you all are ready!
What has modelling taught you about yourself that you didn’t expect to learn?
That this awkward girl can carry a look effortlessly. Thank you very much!
But really, I think it taught me that the things that make you feel a little awkward or different can actually become your strengths. You don’t always have to change yourself to fit into a certain image.

What are your thoughts on model representation in Asia and Southeast Asia in particular?
Everyone is doing the work here. The conversations keep evolving, and we’re so lucky that we have such a deep and magical culture that our discoveries and revelations are endless.
There are so many different ideas of beauty and identity across Asia and Southeast Asia, and it’s exciting to see those perspectives becoming more visible. It’s an exciting process to witness and be part of.

And what changes would you like to see within the industry?
Honestly, just kindness. Keep the kindness, let go of the ego. Help each other out! And goodbye to the corrupt. Don’t you think it’d be more fun that way?
How would you describe your personal relationship with fashion?
I love fashion! The thing is with fashion, no matter who you are or what you like, there will always be a place for you. I love that it gives you the freedom to explore different sides of yourself and to express things without necessarily having to explain them.

When you put on a Celine look, what kind of woman — or version of yourself — do you feel it brings out?
It’s like… she just came from a wonderful vacation, and she carries that air with her. She’s back in the city now, ready to take on whatever comes her way. She is fabulous, and she is grounded. There’s an effortless confidence to her.&nbsp;

What about the Celine collection you’re wearing today resonates with you most?
I like the cheetah print because, well… I am Anna Panthera, after all&nbsp;[laughs].
It feeds my individuality. I like pieces that have a strong personality but still allow you to bring your own character into them.
What do you hope to explore next in fashion?
The world is vast! As a Sagittarius, please, universe, surprise me — I’m here for the ride. I’m excited to keep exploring different creative worlds, meeting new people and seeing where fashion takes me next.
