<p style="text-align: justify;">Every year, the world of fashion meets on the <em>Mont&eacute;e des Marches.</em> The 77th edition of the <strong>Cannes Film Festival</strong> is always crowded with celebrities. From 14 May to 25 May, the films in competition will premiere one after another at the Palais des Festivals et des Congr&egrave;s. Opening the film festival are two artists loved by the public, <strong>Meryl Streep</strong>, honored with the <span><strong>Palme d'Or</strong> for lifetime achievement, and the president of this year's jury, the director of "<em>Barbie</em>" <strong>Greta Gerwig</strong>.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span>The first film screened is the</span> French "<em>Le Deuxi&egrave;me Acte</em>" by <strong>Quentin Dupieux</strong>. Among the big names in competition,<strong> Francis Ford Coppola</strong> returns to the <strong>Croisette</strong> after many years with the new film <em>"Megalopolis"</em>. After&nbsp;the great critical and public success with "<em>Povere Creature!</em>", <strong>Yorgos Lanthimos</strong> presents "<em>Kinds of Kindness</em>" at Cannes. The only Italian director in competition is <strong>Paolo Sorrentino</strong> with "<em>Parthenope</em>". Among the Hollywood celebrities on the red carpet of the festival are <strong>Selena Gomez</strong>&nbsp;for her performance in "<em>Emilia P&eacute;rez</em>" by <strong>Jacques Audiard</strong>, <strong>Barry Keoghan</strong> with "<em>Bird</em>" by <strong>Andrea Arnold</strong>,<strong> </strong>and <strong>Jacob Elordi</strong> with <strong>Paul Schrader</strong>'s "<em>Oh, Canada</em>" (with <strong>Uma Thurman</strong> and <strong>Richard Gere</strong> ).</p>
