Lulu Tan-Gan's Harmonious Identities collection intricately weaves together the stark contrasts of utilitarian fashion with Southern influences. In a symphony of materials, this collection seamlessly melds the ethereal lightness and fluidity of pi&ntilde;a fabric with the raw, textured allure of coarser materials, blurring the lines between outerwear and accessories. What sets Tan-Gan's creations apart is her unwavering commitment to preserving the artisanal craftsmanship that lies at the heart of her designs. She meticulously honours the intricate, time-honored processes that bring her creations to life, all the while skillfully transcending them into modern wear.

Abdul Gaffar shines the spotlight on Mindanao, weaving tradition and modernity together in his latest collection. Its title, From the Lake, was derived from the meaning of the tribe name Maranao, which translates to &ldquo;people from the lake&rdquo;. Returning to his Maranao heritage, Gaffar expresses his deep respect for his cultural roots by drawing inspiration from them. Through the artful incorporation of jusi and pi&ntilde;a, Gaffar blends the essence of Maranao culture into his designs, infusing them with unique elements, textiles, and jewellery. A pivotal piece in this journey is the Sarimanok Shirt, which serves as the cornerstone of this collection.&nbsp;

Renz Reyes pushes the boundaries of traditional gender norms, achieved through skillful utilitarian tailoring, intricate embroidery, and an imaginative journey into the world of horticultural influence. Reyes was drawn to a photograph of penitents during Holy Week, a cultural act of devotion, in the Philippines. In this ritual, Catholic men are obligated to publicly atone for their sins, and part of this process involves donning traditional grass skirts, which are seen as a means of penalty by symbolising femininity. Entitled Hortitorture, the collection emanates sophistication, showcasing voluminous sleeves, the meticulous artistry of patchwork, and sharply defined silhouettes that boldly challenge conventional notions of gender.

Patrick Galang transforms tailored menswear into utilitarian womenswear, characterized by a deep, atmospheric colour scheme that combines boldness with refinement. In his latest collection, No. 2, Galang reimagines and frees the traditional men's tailored jacket and aviator uniforms from their typical form and function.

Presenting her first show in 15 years, Mich Dulce reflects on the origins and evolution of her work. Inspired by the Amish community, Dulce unveils a refined simplicity in her collection, marked by neutral tones and unique textiles, which include her signature T'nalak and pi&ntilde;a fabrics, as well as the innovative incorporation of latex into her creative arsenal.

Drawing inspiration from 1970s cowboys, Chris Nick delves into the blend of denim, tuxedos, and Western elements in this season's collection, created to exude elegance transitioning seamlessly from day to night. This collection offers a contemporary reinterpretation of enduring favourites, drawing creative cues from the realms of art, travel, and music. His latest collection marks his debut in working with denim, where he elevates its casual essence into a tuxedo-inspired silhouette, infusing his work with both sartorial refinement and a touch of sensuality.
