After selling out stadiums and releasing a companion film, The Weeknd is stepping into a more grounded ritual: the morning brew. The artist&mdash;real name Abel Tesfaye&mdash;has teamed up with Nespresso to launch Samra Origins, a coffee collection named after his mother and rooted in his Ethiopian heritage. It&rsquo;s a tribute to the traditions he grew up with, where coffee wasn&rsquo;t just a drink&mdash;it was a way to bring people together.
The collection debuts with the Togetherness Blend, a rich double espresso made with 100 percent African Arabicas. Lightly roasted to preserve its brightness and depth, the blend combines washed and unwashed beans for a cup with sweet honey and woody notes. Tesfaye calls it &ldquo;a reflection of gathering, sharing, reflecting.&rdquo; And if iced coffee&rsquo;s more your thing, there&rsquo;s a sleek Samra Origins tumbler featuring The Weeknd&rsquo;s personal latte recipe (complete with oat milk, vanilla syrup, honey, and cinnamon).

Alongside the blend, there&rsquo;s a travel mug and limited-edition accessories inspired by Tesfaye&rsquo;s creative process. The drop is available in the U.S. and Canada online and in Nespresso boutiques. Just make sure you&rsquo;ve got a Vertuo machine&mdash;these pods are made specifically for Nespresso&rsquo;s Vertuo line.
