The Roman Maison introduces a new interdisciplinary platform for artistic cross-pollination.

Seoul, South Korea is a burgeoning place for creativity and newness. So it&rsquo;s no wonder that Bulgari launched Bulgari Studio at the dynamic metropolis that continues to push the boundaries of fashion, design, and global culture. Held at the inspiring spaces of the Th&eacute;&acirc;tre des Lumi&egrave;res last March 14, 2024, guests who graced the celebration comprised of Bulgari Ambassador LISA of BLACKPINK, and a slew of celebrities personally invited by the House including Pia Wurtzbach, Nadine Lustre, Lee Jong Suk, Kim Ji Hun, and Jungwon and Ni-Ki of ENHYPEN.

Ahead of the event, L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines spoke with Laura Burdese, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Bulgari, and she mentioned how the night would possibly pan out for everyone in attendance. &ldquo;I hope there will be a strong emotional connection with what [the audience] will experience. It will be a tremendous experience that will involve all your senses.&rdquo; True enough, the evening constituted of different artistic expressions. From art to music to dance, it was a multi-sensory feast to behold.
One of the highlights of the night was an immersive audio-visual performance by multi-disciplinary artist Anyma, aka Matteo Milleri the other half of DJ duo Tale of Us. The groundbreaking performance blurred the lines of imagination and reality, inspired by the B.zero1 design language.

French choreographer Sadeck Berrabah also brought his vision to the Bulgari Studio Stage and captivated the audience with performances that highlighted the B.zero1 collection through fluid and conceptual movements. The entire dance perfectly displayed the ability of humans to create harmony, while also showcasing the individualistic and unique character of each performer.
At the core of all the festivities were Bulgari&rsquo;s B.zero1 ring, the Bulgari Roma bag, and Bulgari Bulgari watches, which were also on display at the event. These three quintessential collections stand as the Roman Maison&rsquo;s iconic and artistically malleable triumvirate that course through the innovative gene of Bulgari Studio. &ldquo;The idea was to bring to life what we call the Italian genius side of Bulgari. When we talk about Italian genius, we mean this part of the DNA of Bulgari that has to do with our pioneering spirit, with our forward-thinking attitude. That has always been part of the Bulgari DNA since the very beginning,&rdquo; Laura explains.

This marks Bulgari&rsquo;s 140th anniversary and it only seemed fitting for the brand to launch a new frontier when it comes to creativity and design. &ldquo;Bulgari was born breaking the rules of jewelry and inventing a totally new kind of jewelry. And even with the lines of B.zero1 and Bulgari Bulgari, we reinvented the codes of jewelry again. So with Bulgari Studio, we wanted to create a platform for artistic and interdisciplinary co-creation and collaboration and cross-pollination among different kind of innovative art and artistic expression.&rdquo;

The Bulgari Studio synergy already started with a progressive collaboration with German-based Italo-Philippine artist Antoni Tudisco, who created the first digital campaign for the Maison. Still featuring the B.zero1 ring as the main subject of his creative expression, Antoni was able to create multiple surrealist interpretations of the icon in a kaleidoscope of endless possibilities. The digital artwork features multiple B.zero1 rings coursing through each other at the neck of Seoul Tower, highlighting both the artistic prowess of the jewelry and playful nature of the artist&rsquo;s imagination.
&ldquo;So this co-creation and collaborative and cooperation platform is really meant for artists to meet and to open discussion, to free their imagination, to create together, inspired by these values, to create something completely new. So the aim was really to help them free the imagination, to connect the dots from different parts of the world, from different form of innovative arts, to continue to create innovative things,&rdquo; Laura shares.
The Roman House isn&rsquo;t one to gatekeep and are welcoming the public to view the special installation in the heart of Seoul featuring the B.zero1 ring in collaboration with Anyma. The artwork is available for viewing from March 13 to 31, 2024 and features an interdisciplinary piece that presents the iconic ring in an endless spiral. Neither horizontal nor vertical, it is merely looking towards the endless possibilities of the future and aims to be a beacon of inspiration for those who have the courage to keep looking ahead.
