This is why Swiss timepieces brand OMEGA renews its longstanding partnership with the renowned Olympic Games, which will be held this 2024 in Paris. To heighten the anticipation for the upcoming Olympic Games on July 26, 2024&ndash;exactly one year before the games begin, OMEGA unveiled the official Olympic Games countdown clock in Paris, situated at Port de la Bourdonnais. This is right beside the River Seine, the same venue where the Games&rsquo; opening ceremonies will be held. Situated with iconic Eiffel Tower as its backdrop, the countdown clock began exactly a year before the 2024 Olympic Games, building continuous anticipation for the event&rsquo;s global audience and stirring inspiration for the participating athletes.

To further commemorate the event, OMEGA launches the exclusive Seamaster Diver 300M &ldquo;Paris 2024&rdquo; Special Edition, marked by its distinct gold accent that embodies the ultimate goal that the Olympians aim to strive for.

As an Olympic Games timepiece, the watch is created from fade-resistant stainless steel and OMEGA&rsquo;s own yellow gold allow named 18K MoonshineTM Gold&mdash;used for the watch&rsquo;s bezel. On the date display at the 6 o&rsquo;clock mark, OMEGA adopts the Paris 2024 typography to inscribe the numbers in black, while the central seconds hand carries a small yet visible Paris 2024 emblem. The watch&rsquo;s commemorative caseback reveals the iconic medallion visible in the Paris 2024 emblem, polished against a laser-ablated background. This Olympic branding is reinforced by the stamped words &ldquo;Paris 2024" and the iconic Olympic Rings in stainless steel.

Precision is just as of value to OMEGA as the Olympic Games, so just like all Seamaster models, this Seamaster Diver 300M is completed with the highest standards of precision and performance. The Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8800, along with the entire watch, has been tested and certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to meet a stringent level of quality. For now, this commemorative watch will only be available from OMEGA boutiques in the 2024 Olympic host city, Paris.
