TUMI is setting its sights firmly on the future of travel with the announcement of Chinese actor Wei Daxun as its new Asia-Pacific Brand Ambassador. The move follows the recent unveiling of the brand&rsquo;s Shanghai flagship, a signal moment in TUMI&rsquo;s ongoing global expansion and its dedication to serving the ever-connected traveler.
Wei, celebrated for his breadth as an actor and his resonance with audiences across Asia, brings with him a rare combination of charisma and sincerity. Over the course of his career, which spans film, television, music, and philanthropy, he has come to embody the very values TUMI has championed for five decades: precision, creativity, and the kind of tireless discipline that transforms travel into artful motion.

His first appearance for the house comes in the third and final installment of the &ldquo;Uncompromisingly Light&rdquo; campaign, spotlighting the brand&rsquo;s 19 Degree Lite collection. Directed by David Pun and captured by photographer GK, the visuals distill the quiet intensity of Wei&rsquo;s fast-paced lifestyle. Shifting between cities and sets, the actor finds continuity in the tools that carry him forward: the sculptural yet ultra-lightweight 19 Degree Lite luggage and the versatile Alpha Bravo Navigation Backpack, shown here in navy coated canvas.
