Inspired by Louis Vuitton's Art of Travel philosophy, the House teams up with California-based restoration specialist Singer to create two exceptional Porsche 911s that bring together fashion, watchmaking, craftsmanship, and automotive design.

The project began with what seemed like a small detail: the dashboard clock. Louis Vuitton was initially approached to design a clock for a Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer. Crafted at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in Switzerland, the design draws inspiration from the Tambour watch, with its distinctive bezel and 12 polished characters spelling out Louis Vuitton.
But the ambition of the project quickly grew. If the spirit of Louis Vuitton could be brought to the clock, why not extend it throughout the entire car? From there, elements of the cockpit—including the speedometer, tachometer, and displays—were redesigned using the graphic language of the Tambour. This process alone took a year to complete.

The Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic stands out in saffron and cobalt blue, two colors tied to Louis Vuitton's history while also creating an interesting connection to the Bahama Yellow seen in Singer's earliest projects. The car also features a custom roof rack designed to carry luggage, a surfboard, or a pair of skis, reinforcing the spirit of long journeys.

Inside, Louis Vuitton's design language continues through natural leather, yellow stitching, the Monogram Flower, and a malletage motif inspired by the interiors of the Maison's classic trunks. Controls, fasteners, pulls, and air vents are also crafted in metal and hand-finished using techniques that recall fine watchmaking.

Accompanying the car is a capsule collection for its owner, including a leather racing jacket, denim jeans, driving gloves, LV Rally shoes or LV Remix Derby shoes, and a carbon helmet, along with a luggage system designed to fit precisely into the available spaces throughout the car. These pieces make fashion more than something that simply sits alongside the Porsche; they turn it into an extension of the car itself.

Meanwhile, the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo, developed under the direction of Nicolas Ghesquière, takes a different approach. Its Calcaire Lutétien white body is paired with natural wood, leather, and gold accents, evoking the elegance of classic boats. It also comes with its own capsule collection, including a parachute-silk suit, leather gloves, LV Sneakerina, eyewear, and a helmet, all developed to blend with the visual language of the car.

The collaboration also marks the first time Louis Vuitton has created a co-branded automotive product. For Singer, it represents a meeting of two systems of savoir-faire united by a belief in craftsmanship, authenticity, and an obsession with detail.

From the automobile trunks Louis Vuitton created at the end of the 19th century to the Porsche 911s reimagined today, the Maison's relationship with the automotive world stretches back more than a century. But this time, Louis Vuitton isn't simply equipping the journey.
