To mark the FIFA World Cup 2026, Louis Vuitton unveils a new bespoke Trophy Trunk alongside a limited-edition collection celebrating the House's craftsmanship and long-standing connection to the world's biggest sporting stage.

For the FIFA World Cup 2026, Louis Vuitton adds another chapter to its long-running relationship with sport. Now serving as the tournament's Official Supplier and Branded Licensee, the House has unveiled a new Trophy Trunk designed to house, protect, and present football's most coveted prize. The trunk will make its debut on the pitch moments before the final, carried alongside Louis Vuitton ambassadors and a FIFA legend.
Handcrafted in the House's historic Asnières workshops, the Trophy Trunk reflects more than 170 years of craftsmanship. Finished in Louis Vuitton's signature Monogram canvas, it features two front panels painted by hand with a gold "V," standing for both Victory and Vuitton, echoing the gleam of the trophy itself. Signature lozine trim, metal corners, locks, and gold-plated hardware recall the House's iconic trunks dating back to the 1860s. Inside, a light beige leather lining is finished with a special Louis Vuitton x FIFA™ partnership patch.

Romy Gai, FIFA's Chief Business Officer, echoed the sentiment, noting that Louis Vuitton brings not only exceptional craftsmanship but also its heritage and prestige to the tournament. He added that the Trophy Trunk's appearance on the pitch before the final promises to be another memorable moment where tradition meets the highest level of modern football.
The partnership builds on a relationship that stretches back to 2010, when Louis Vuitton first created a Trophy Trunk for the FIFA World Cup. Since then, the House has accompanied the trophy through tournaments in South Africa, Brazil, Russia, and Qatar, all under the now-iconic motto: "Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton."

To mark the new tournament, Louis Vuitton is also introducing a limited-edition collection inspired by the official Trophy Trunk. The capsule includes an 8-Watch Trunk, Cotteville 16-Watch Trunk, and Lozine 110 Courier Trunk, each finished in Monogram canvas with the FIFA™ logo and the hand-painted gold "V." Staying true to the House's tradition of personalization, each piece can also be customized with its owner's initials.
The collection extends Louis Vuitton's long-standing Art of Travel philosophy into the world of football, pairing the House's signature craftsmanship with one of the sport's most celebrated traditions.
