The latest HydroConquest update focuses on proportion, surface finishes, and everyday versatility, with expanded case sizes and new bracelet options joining the lineup.

Longines introduces the HydroConquest for 2026 with updates that focus on refinement rather than change. The collection remains within the brand&rsquo;s sport category, but shifts slightly toward proportion, wearability, and overall finish.
The watch itself stays familiar. A stainless steel case, rotating bezel, and clean dial layout continue to define the HydroConquest. For this update, the changes are subtle but noticeable in wear. The collection is now offered in 39mm and 42mm, creating a more flexible range that works across different wrist sizes and daily contexts without altering its core identity.

The dial follows the same approach. Blue, black, and green lacquered versions keep things direct and functional, while a frosted-blue sunray option introduces a different surface quality. Applied markers with Super-LumiNova&reg; maintain clarity, especially in low-light conditions.
The ceramic bezel has been expanded into new color options, including black, blue, slate grey, verdant green, and luminous blue. It remains a functional element, but the updated palette and finishing give the watch a more cohesive overall presence. The rotation has also been refined for a more precise feel during use.

Inside, the HydroConquest is powered by the Longines calibre L888.5, a self-winding movement with a silicon balance spring designed to improve resistance to magnetic fields. It offers up to 72 hours of power reserve, supporting consistent performance even when the watch is not worn daily. Water resistance remains at 300 meters, keeping its position as a reliable watch.
The bracelet has been updated for comfort and variation. Stainless steel models feature H-shaped links, a double-folding clasp, and micro-adjustment for a more adaptable fit throughout the day. A Milanese mesh bracelet is also introduced to the collection for the first time, offering a lighter alternative.

The campaign featuring Longines Ambassador of Elegance Henry Cavill places the HydroConquest in a coastal setting between land and sea. Shot along the volcanic coastline of Tenerife, it frames the watch in movement rather than stillness. Cavill describes it as carrying &ldquo;a sense of lightness and dignity,&rdquo; tied to movement and discovery.

What defines the 2026 HydroConquest is not a redesign, but the precision of its adjustments. The updates stay within the existing language of the collection, refining proportion, materials, and feel rather than introducing a new direction. It results in a watch that remains immediately recognizable, but more resolved in execution and more consistent in how it wears and performs.
