The trick is not treating them like a big deal.

At the Kyoto premiere of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Donald Glover built his look around one piece that usually trips people up: leather pants.&nbsp;He wore a full Celine look, with lambskin skate jeans paired with a wool &nbsp;jacket and a piqu&eacute; polo.
Leather pants tend to get overthought. People either go too far with the styling or treat them like they need something extra to justify them. The easier way is to approach them like any other pair of trousers. Keep the outfit familiar, keep the palette tight, and let the material do what it does.
The fit makes a difference too. Glover didn&rsquo;t go overly tight or exaggerated. They just sat cleanly. Once the proportions are right, you don&rsquo;t need to compensate elsewhere.&nbsp;The rest of the details stay in line with that approach. A black leather belt. Ballet lace-up shoes in lambskin, which keep the look from feeling too heavy.
Again, if you&rsquo;re thinking about wearing leather pants, this is the reference. Build a solid outfit first, then swap in leather instead of your usual trousers. You don&rsquo;t need to add more to make them work.
Off the carpet, Glover gave an update about the long-awaited Community movie. He said they&rsquo;re working on it now and that something could happen soon. And yes, he also acknowledged that people have heard that before, but insisted this time he&rsquo;s not exaggerating.
