This marks the travelling exhibition's seventh stop, following Florence, Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Seoul

If you're planning to head down under for a holiday at the end of the year, make sure to visit the Gucci Garden Archetypes Exhibition at the Powerhouse Ultimo, Sydney. The traveling exhibition opened its doors to the public today and will continue to allow visitors to venture around the traveling wonderland till the 15th of January next year, following its stops in Florence, Shanghai, Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Seoul.
It explores inspirations in music, art, travel, and pop culture spheres that inspire the house's campaigns. "I thought it was interesting to accompany people in these almost eight years of adventure, inviting them to cross the imaginary, the narrative, the unexpected, the glitter," says Creative Director and Exhibition Curator Alessandro Michele. "So, I created a playground of emotions that are the same as in the campaigns, because they are the most explicit journey into my imagery."&nbsp;

There, guests can expect to immerse themselves in the spirit of Gucci, with opportunities to see first-hand the cutting-edge technologies, intricate hand-crafting, and innovative interior designs of the never-to-be-recreated-again space at Powerhouse Ultimo, created by Archivio Personale.
"The Powerhouse is thrilled to be exhibiting Gucci Garden Archetypes in Sydney, Australia," says Lisa Havilah, Powerhouse Chief Executive. "Gucci's extraordinary Creative Director Alessandro Michele draws on fashion's affinities with art and music to create an exhibition that will take audiences on an immersive journey through past inspirations of the internationally renowned luxury fashion house&rsquo;s most iconic campaigns."

The space will feature specific rooms and experiences for guests to appreciate the world of Gucci. Notable areas of interest in the exhibition include the scented floral paradise of 'Gucci Bloom', Pre-Fall 18-inspired graffiti walls that pay homage to the Parisian youth of &lsquo;May 68&rsquo;, and the pastel LA subway carriage as seen in Alessandro Michele&rsquo;s first campaign &ndash; Fall/Winter 2015, among others.
