Channeling the stormy mood of Wuthering Heights, Max Mara transforms Emily Bront&euml;&rsquo;s world of romance and restraint into form for Fall/Winter 2025. Titled Untamed Heroine, the collection blends classic silhouettes with neo-gothic edge and a distinct urban rusticity, where structured forms are softened by sumptuous textures.&nbsp;
Arriving in the Philippines last November, the collection made its debut through an exclusive runway showcase &mdash; brought to life by Jasmine Curtis Smith, Ruffa Gutierrez, Beng Dee, and Dra. Aivee Aguilar-Teo, who embodies what it means to be a modern-day heroine. The runway felt like stepping into a windswept moor, where each garment narrated the delicate tension between desire and discipline.&nbsp;

The Max Mara heroine is a study in controlled elegance &mdash; both commanding and composed. Yet even the most disciplined heart cannot stop the pull of drama and passion. This duality is manifested in reimagined redingotes that are toughened by detachable quilted linings and sleeves in leather or shearling, while antique-inspired trousers, cropped jackets, and sculpted waistcoat adds form and precision to the silhouette.&nbsp;

Coats become a story in themselves &mdash; appearing in every style. Military-inspired greatcoats and tailored frock coats honor heritage while embracing movement; meanwhile, billowing capes, enveloping clutch coats, and robe-de-chambre silhouettes add a touch of grandeur and theatrics to the collection.&nbsp;

The color palette is also instrumental to the storytelling of the collection. Revolving around Cascia &mdash; a shade unique to the brand &mdash; each piece unfolded in gradual hues that evoke the landscapes and skies of Yorkshire. Tweeds in berry red, moss green, and autumnal browns combine ruggedness with suppleness.&nbsp;

Bridging old-world charm with modern sensibility, knitted moulin&eacute; sweaters traces the curves of a Victorian bodice &mdash; combining structure and softness. The collection culminates in coal-black velvet gowns that mirror the falling of the night and offer a dramatic finale to the season&rsquo;s story.
