Tommy Hilfiger reimagines prep with a campaign fueled by motorsport nostalgia and classic American ease.

This fall, Tommy Hilfiger hits the starting line with a new chapter: The Hilfiger Racing Club. A campaign that takes preppy heritage for a spin, it merges luxury car culture with Ivy League polish. Think of it less as an invitation-only soir&eacute;e and more as an open pit stop &mdash; no RSVPs, just the thrill of tradition with a new pace.
Since launching in 1985, Hilfiger has always played with irreverence. Plastering his name on Times Square billboards alongside the greats? Already a cheeky flex. That same energy drives this new campaign, shot by Glen Luchford, starring two icons who know a thing or two about timeless cool: Nicholas Hoult, now revving up in Superman, and Claudia Schiffer, forever the face of effortless German glamour.

Hoult, an actual vintage car racing enthusiast, injects the imagery with camaraderie and confidence. Beside him, Schiffer brings her signature mix of elegance and ease. Together, they embody the Racing Club spirit: tradition, but never stuck in neutral.
Inside this world, preppy gets a shake-up. Blazers show up reworked, tartans are loosened, trench coats get a weather-ready twist. Barn jackets in treated wool, ties worn a little crooked, pleats paired with sweatshirts &mdash; the codes of campus style are flipped and remixed. It&rsquo;s heritage, but tuned for speed.
&ldquo;Reinventing preppy has been at the heart of my vision for 40 years,&rdquo; says Tommy Hilfiger. &ldquo;From day one, I&rsquo;ve mixed American classics with cultural influences, and this season continues to push those traditions forward. The Hilfiger Racing Club opens a new series of campaigns, bringing freshness to an iconic social calendar moment.&rdquo;

The launch doesn&rsquo;t stop at clothes. Expect activations and events inspired by racetracks: immersive experiences, unexpected collaborations, fan meet-ups around the globe. &ldquo;Tommy has an extraordinary talent for creating collections that are both timeless and playful,&rdquo; says Schiffer. &ldquo;That joyful spirit of self-expression is exactly what he captured here.&rdquo; Hoult agrees: &ldquo;This collection carries the same energy I love about racing &mdash; fast, focused, and alive.&rdquo;
