Mugler merges artificial intelligence and the most beautiful women in the world for its Spring/Summer 2021 see-now-buy-now collection. Casey Cadwallader had Bella Hadid doing somersaults, Alek Wek doing uncontrollable pirouettes, and Dominique Jackson from the series, Pose, dressing or undressing with a wave of the arm.

Casey Cadwallader, artistic director of fashion house Mugler, opens the video for her Spring/Summer 2021 collection by grabbing Bella Hadid by the hips and throwing her in the air like she's a superhero. The supermodel once again lands on the runway of Mugler's see-now-buy-now Spring/Summer 2021 collection and walks the runway in a look of elastic paneled jeans and a revealing micro-top that wraps around her breasts. Then the show begins, without much scenography, where the models interact as if they were in a video game, without being avatars or robots. Actress Dominique Jackson from the <a href="https://www.lofficiel.be/art-culture/pose-la-saison-3-sera-la-derniere" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pose</a> series proudly walks the runway wearing a jacket to coordinate with her look with a snap of her fingers, and stockings with transparent geometric portions, while Alek Wek does quick pirouettes, and Hunter Schafer, from the Euphoria series, takes a shower of water whose refraction of light matches the transparency and micro-shine applied in waves on her light silk sheath dress.

The house's tradition of exalting the female body is interpreted by Casey Cadwaller in a new way of sewing: from an aerodynamic blazer inspired by a Thierry Mugler model designed for David Bowie in the early 90s, up to all those almost naked dresses and bodysuits, made with nylon tulle that the designer called "bulletproof" and tear-resistant.

The play of body sinuosities, flexibility, large shoulders, maxi-colorful outfits are some of the most interesting moments of the show. We find deep necklines defining hourglass-shaped silhouettes, micro-tops, and pants (some high-waisted, others low-waisted) in bifurcated tulle with transparent inserts. Recycled denim defines the hips and falls softly to the legs, while micro-drapes show up in gathered tulle pencil skirts, gathered jersey dresses, and gathered goddess tops. The masculine button-down shirts are deconstructed with an open back, almost flying away from the body, in stark contrast to the shimmering ensemble of iridescent crystal applications that sculpt the gloves, jumpsuits and mini dresses in iridescent two-tone topographies.
