The K-pop star fronts L'Officiel Philippines' 2nd anniversary cover in Louis Vuitton.

When L'Officiel Philippines spoke to MINGYU of top K-pop group SEVENTEEN, he was taking things slow after a hectic world tour. His brief resting stance is reflected in his current style philosophy: "These days, I like sporty clothes," he shares. "In the past, I wore a lot of slacks and jeans to dress up, but now that I like sports, I like casual and sporty outfits."

For the cover shoot, MINGYU wears pieces from Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2023 collection, which is united by the belief that imagination can heal, regenerate, and uplift.

Under the premise that toys are tools for the imagination, the collection reflects the transition from childlike na&iuml;vet&eacute; to grown-up refinement. Elevating childhood symbols through the brand&rsquo;s savoir-faire, oversized and shrunken silhouettes play with the idea of a wardrobe yet to be grown into or already outgrown. Iconography native to the playground is found throughout: origami paper planes, building block beading, modeling clay textures, cartoon prints, and sandbox tool embellishments.
