The seasoned designer unveiled his milestone collection at Bench Fashion Week.

Having debuted in 2007, Martin Bautista became beloved by a discerning clientele for his impeccable skills in drapery and garment manipulation, as well as his fearless color palette and masterful use of jersey. It's this bold yet elegant aesthetic that he's now celebrating for his milestone year in the Philippine fashion industry: Bautista unveiled his 15th anniversary collection entitled StiLl-LiFe&nbsp;at Bench Fashion Week last October 1, 2022. A meditation on elegance in growth, this runway saw Bautista&rsquo;s career come full circle. He found familiarity in the cycles of fashion, challenging his lens on the past with this collection&rsquo;s innovations.

For StiLl-LiFe, his manipulations included denim cargo pants overlain in vibrant-hued tulle, grids of pearls punctuated by swinging fringe, and printed pleats scalloping the body. As he sent his looks down the catwalk to Rosalia&rsquo;s BIZCOCHITO, Bautista matched the music's frantic energy via sophisticated silhouettes remixed with playful notes: surprising washes of color, locally sourced baroque pearls, his self-produced print, and contrast fringe. Bautista earnestly puts forward the notion that there is always something to look forward to, even after 15 years in the industry.
