Born in Los Angeles, of Taiwanese descent, having lived in Paraguay and Brazil, and a member of South Korean boy group Got7, you could say Mark Tuan is a global citizen. &ldquo;The hardest part for me is I&rsquo;ll wake up, and I&rsquo;ll look at my phone and there will be like 100 text messages from [the members], and then I&rsquo;ll reply, and they&rsquo;re all sleeping,&rdquo; he laughingly tells L'Officiel Philippines of the tight-knit group's current long-distance relationship. That's because he's currently based in California, where we met up with him for our June 2021 cover shoot.
Mirroring his eventful, intercontinental life, Mark isn't one to fear trying new looks. Here, we give you a breakdown of four Spring/Summer 2021 menswear trends he donned to front our latest issue.

<h4>70s redux</h4>
We'd say the 70s are back, but have they ever really left? Thanks to the likes of Gucci's Alessandro Michele and Walter Chiapponi of Tod's, the decade's lasting influence gets amplified via corduroy bell-bottoms, cropped leather bombers, and aviator sunglasses. While flares are pretty much a non-negotiable, up top you can do either an open-necked silk shirt or a demure ribboned collar a la Mark.

<h4>Statement print</h4>
Sometimes, more really is more. Zingy prints in acid colors invite optimism, as demonstrated by the electric brights at Versace and MSGM. If you're still uncertain about dipping a toe into the kaleidoscope world, Louis Vuitton's plaid suit is a fine, tailored introduction.

<h4>Wide legs</h4>
The trouser of the season is long and languid, preferably pooling nonchalantly over the feet. This relaxed look, championed by the collections of Lemaire and Emporio Armani, among others, is the epitome of tasteful slouchiness. And, there's no need to balance silhouettes here &mdash; throw on equally loose separates to mimic Mark's vibe.

<h4>Workwear</h4>
Fashion continues its fascination with utilitarianism and all the trappings of uniform. A multi-pocketed cargo jumpsuit done in a fresh lavender hue was a favorite at Kenzo, while A-Cold-Wall's ultra-functional vest is the camping gear of dreams. Mark's belted gray-blue Dior jacket makes for a sleek take.
