Actress, entrepreneur, and the newest Filipina friend of the house of Bvlgari, Marian Rivera, is busier than ever, and finally at peace with the pace of her own life.

Marian Rivera was fresh off a trip to Los Angeles when she arrived for her L’Officiel Philippines cover shoot. She was still riding the quiet high of a family vacation, squeezed in right before her kids, Zia and Sixto, went back to school. It was where she spent her 42nd birthday this year with her husband, Dingdong Dantes, and her two children.
It has been two years since Marian first graced this cover. On set, there is a strange sense of deja vu. She arrives early, wide awake, and clear-eyed despite the call time, the same energy that made an impression the first time around. This time, though, she is adorned in a mix of pieces from Bvlgari’s 2026 Diva’s Dream and Serpenti collections, fitting given her newest title as the brand’s friend of the house. Behind the camera is photographer Mark Nicdao, who has shot her before, and it shows in how easily she takes his direction. She still carries that same effect, the look of someone who has it all under control.

<h3 dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">BACK IN THE STORY</h3>
Expected in cinemas this November is Remember, the upcoming film that reunites Marian with Dingdong and director Mae Cruz Alviar, following the success of Rewind. Marian is quick to note that working together again was never the only goal. “We did not want to do another project just because Rewind was successful. When Remember came along, we felt that it had its own heart and something new to say,” she says. Shooting in Quebec meant being far from Zia and Sixto, though the distance also gave her and Dingdong rare uninterrupted time as a couple. “It was hard being away from the kids, but after shooting, it was really just us, talking, eating together, taking walks,” she says.
Nearly two decades of marriage and acting together might suggest it gets easier for Marian and Dingdong to work as scene partners. She says it is often the opposite, since some scenes still hit a little too close to home. “What matters is that when we are in a scene, we respect each other as actors. He is not just my husband, he is my scene partner,” she shares.

Even her next comeback keeps Dingdong nearby, though in a much smaller role this time. Marian is returning to series work after a two-year break, with Behind Closed Doors, a mystery drama for Prime Video. It reunites her with director Dominic Zapata, who directed her in Darna and several of her most iconic roles. She plays a sharp-tongued journalist whose secret entanglement with a sitting president, played by Dingdong in a special participation role, spirals into a political scandal.
I didn’t want to go back for the sake of going back. I wanted a challenge,” she tells. She wanted a role with depth, someone not easy to read, the kind of character an actor had to study and discover, not just simply play. “I want to see who she is when no one’s watching. What is she protecting? This is how you build a person, not only her profession,” she explains.

<h3 dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">THE FRIEND OF THE HOUSE</h3>
This year, Marian added a new title to an already long list. She became the second Filipina, after Pia Wurtzbach, to be named a friend of the house of Bvlgari. “My absolute first feeling was disbelief and gratitude. It was like, ‘Really? Me?’” she says. “I felt very grateful and honored, because I knew that I was not only carrying my name, I was also representing the Philippines.” She is quick to acknowledge the woman who came before her, saying she is proud of what Pia has accomplished. “Every time a Filipina is recognized globally, it feels like a recognition of what a Filipina can bring. I hope there will be even more,” she says.
Representing the Philippines was on her mind, too, when she chose to announce the partnership on her official social media accounts almost entirely in Tagalog. “I wanted Filipinos to feel that they were part of that moment with me. I am a Filipina. I wanted to express in our own language what that honor meant to me,” she says. For her, stepping into a global brand does not mean losing herself, language, and culture included.

She brings that same whole self into what she wears for the shoot too, a mix of pieces from Bvlgari’s 2026 Diva’s Dream novelties and the Serpenti line. The Diva’s Dream update is the collection’s newest chapter, built around the house’s signature ginkgo motif in a more vivid register. It moves from soft mother- of-pearl and pink gold pieces to graphic Mosaic sets in turquoise and tanzanite, with sculptural High Jewelry moments in rubellite and malachite. It is a collection built on contrast and craftsmanship, and it shows in the pieces Marian gravitates toward, ones that do not need to shout to be noticed. “I love pieces that are timeless but still have a strong personality. When you see a Bvlgari piece, it has character,” she says. For her, jewelry becomes even more special once it carries a memory.
<h3 dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">BUILDING SOMETHING OF HER OWN</h3>
Beyond acting, Marian has spent the last few years quietly building Vida Essentials, her own skincare line, a project three years in the making that she describes as deeply personal rather than a simple endorsement with her face on the label. “Eventually I thought, ‘What if I make something that really represents what I personally look for?’” she says. She wanted to be involved in every step, from concept and formulation to packaging and how the brand talks to consumers. Her approach to skincare mirrors how she talks about most things these days, unglamorous consistency over quick fixes. “It does not need to be overly complicated. I believe in taking care of your skin every day, hydration, protection, and giving your skin what it needs. There is no such thing as overnight magic,” she says.

Launching the brand on TikTok Shop rather than at a traditional press event gave her an unexpected window into her own supporters, allowing her to interact with them directly, almost in real time. “What surprised me the most was how curious and informed people are. They ask about ingredients, benefits, and how to use it. I love that, because that is exactly the relationship I want Vida Essentials to have with them.”
<h3 dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">MAMA MARIAN, STILL THE CENTER</h3>
Marian now holds many titles, actress, entrepreneur, and wife, among them. But there is no hesitation when she is asked which one feels most like her true self. “Mother. No question about it,” she says. “Everything else is a blessing, but motherhood changed me the most. Being a wife and a mother became my foundation because I feel secure in that, I am better able to be an actress and an entrepreneur and to take on all these opportunities. At the end of the day, when I go home, I am simply Mama Marian to Zia and Sixto, and that is the role I treasure the most.”
Her days follow the same order: family first, work after. “My day starts really early. I take care of the family first, their school, activities, whatever they need. Then work comes in,” she says.
“When night comes, and the house is quiet again, that’s when I get to breathe a little. No matter how busy it gets, I still want the beginning and end of my day to be about family.”

Watching her children grow has become one of the more grounding parts of this chapter, a reminder that they are always paying attention, even to the lessons she thought they had missed, like choosing kindness even when no one is watching. “That is when I think, ‘Oh, they really are listening.’ It makes me proud, but it is also a reminder that I need to be a good example,” she says.
If Zia and Sixto ever ask her what this season of her life is like, she already knows what she wants to tell them. “I hope they don’t remember how many projects I accomplished or what my achievements were when they look back on things. I hope they remember that I was there, that I loved them fully and that I did everything purposefully,” she says. “Perhaps I want to call this chapter a season of gratitude, growth, and choosing what really matters.” 
Turning a year older this August nudged her toward a rare thing for Marian, an actual wish. She used to say she never wished for anything, believing whatever the Lord gave her was enough to be thankful for. This year, though, she found herself wishing for something simple. “Maybe good health for me, so I can stay strong for them, because my children are still young,” she says.

<h3 dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">THE SMALL THINGS THAT ARE HERS</h3>
Even with everything on her plate, Marian has not let go of the small joys that still feel like her own. Her once sprawling Pop Mart collection has had to make room, some of it now on display at Wonder Society, the exclusive playhouse and learning hub for families that she co-founded on the sixth floor of Greenhills Mall in San Juan. She admits the obsession has cooled. These days, now that she is back at work, her attention has shifted to collecting bags, shoes, and fine jewelry. Her version of “me time” is far simpler than her schedule might suggest. “I like listening to music and exercising, and talking on the phone to check on my loved ones. That is my ‘me time,’” she says.
Marian has come to accept that those roles never fully leave the room, not even for a few quiet minutes away from being a mother, a wife, an entrepreneur, and a global brand ambassador.
“There are moments when I can just be Marian, but even then, I still carry them with me. I guess now, I understand that all those roles are truly a part of who Marian is,” she says.

She has been able to hold all these responsibilities at once without becoming lost in any of them. And that’s why a title like Supreme Star reads as earned, not borrowed. There are few Filipino performers who can claim to star in box office smashes, jump into primetime drama in a role meant to challenge them, and start a skincare line from scratch. Even fewer have managed to climb further to become only the second Filipina to be named to a worldwide luxury house, all while still being the one who packs the school bags every single morning. That range, and the staying strength behind it, is what makes the title fit her, even without a weekly timeslot to prove it.
Marian Rivera was in front of L’Officiel’s lens two years ago as a woman balancing fame, family, and fulfillment all at the same time, and seemingly without regrets. Today, she is back older, busier, undeniably still herself, with the calm certainty of a woman who has stopped needing to prove that it all can in fact coexist: the acting, the business, the marriage, the motherhood. It already does.
