Marc Jacobs and A.P.C. have joined forces for a capsule that fuses varsity spirit with quiet luxury. The 26-piece collection feels like a love letter to the founders&rsquo; long-standing friendship&mdash;and to the 1980s, when both began shaping what modern cool would look like.
The lineup blends signature pieces from both worlds: a wool-and-leather varsity jacket, an oversized striped shirt, dual-branded jerseys, and the ever-iconic Tote Bag. There&rsquo;s also a reimagined Demi-Lune bag, now splashed with the capsule&rsquo;s defining color&mdash;orange, a nod to Paris&rsquo;s vintage Carte Orange metro pass.

Playful references continue throughout: Jean Touitou&rsquo;s Sorbonne student ID is printed across the back of a tee, while Roman-style buttons featuring both founders&rsquo; faces and layered textures add a subtle touch of irreverence. It&rsquo;s nostalgic but never costume-y, academic but still fun.
Shot by Nick Newbold, the campaign captures the same cross-Atlantic energy that defines the clothes&mdash;somewhere between a New York art school and a Left Bank caf&eacute;. More than a capsule, it&rsquo;s a meeting of two fashion &ldquo;universities,&rdquo; each fluent in its own version of understated rebellion.
