After the death of the creative director Virgil Abloh, Louis Vuitton presents the Fall/Winter 2022 men's show at Paris Fashion Week. This is the eighth and last collection that the American designer had worked on.

THE LOUIS VUITTON FALL WINTER MEN'S SHOW BY VIRGIL ABLOH 
A complex show, structured in acts with models and performers who blend harmoniously in the surreal space of the Carreau du Temple which is tinged with Magritte blue. In the center, an American prefab house with a red roof and a smoking chimney, around it are stair structures that lead nowhere, metaphysical portals, a king-size double bed, and an imperial table inhabited by an orchestra. The runway music is provided by <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/tyler-the-creator-x-converse" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tyler, The Creator</a> who accompanies the fashion show with the performance of the Chineke! Orchestra and directed by Gustavo Dudamel. The <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/louis-vuitton-la-storia-della-maison" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Louis Vuitton Maison</a> brings to the stage the latest collection created by <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/news/muore-oggi-28-novembre-virgil-abloh-foto" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the creative director</a> <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/news/muore-oggi-28-novembre-virgil-abloh-foto" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Virgil Abloh</a> who died suddenly last November. The collection is a mix of urban clothing with tailored suits, structured wool coats, monogrammed denim tops, bomber jackets, college jackets with a street attitude, and minimal blazers closed with intersecting lapels. While accessories take everything into another dimension: animal-shaped face masks, hats with three-dimensional feline ears, wool balaclavas, and nylon mask caps. Standout pieces are the suitcases and bags with illustrations and graphics taken from street art and sneakers with an unmistakable sporty and American cut.

In the final part of the show, looks inspired by the wedding ceremonies parade, white angels with sculptural wings, and <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/louis-vuitton-installazione-vetrine-store-milano-omaggio-virgil-abloh-foto" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the toy origami airplane,</a> a distinctive symbol of the creative director who died last November. The curtain closes with a standing ovation from the audience and the exciting collective appearance of the creative team of the Maison Louis Vuitton. <a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/virgil-abloh-morto-la-biografia-la-vita-le-citazioni-foto" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Virgil Abloh</a>&nbsp;was an example of knowing how to renew the concept of menswear with authenticity and culture. A strong influence that has opened the doors to the future.
