When someone thinks about designer craftsmanship, the thought of having excess materials comes to mind at times. After all, what does one do with all the scraps and pieces from previous projects? French luxury leather goods company Longchamp champions making the most out of what it has with its Le Pliage Re-Play set of bags. Each bag is made with end-of-the-roll materials&ndash;proving that no leftover should go to waste.

Le Pliage Re-Play zeroes in on being an exhibition of playful fun and vivacious colors. There are three bag variations within the collection: the vertical tote, the small shoulder bag, and the belt bag. The bags feature a combination of two colors from nylon canvas, as the third color comes from a Russian leather trim. The Longchamp collection is sentimental and reminiscent of past projects&ndash;all the while being creative.

Le Pliage Re-Play bags come in nine different color combinations. And though they are available in varying quantities depending on the specific boutique one chooses to purchase from, the collection is inevitably limited edition. Because the products used in making the bags are unique, each piece is one of a kind. A collaboration with French actress and film director Marie Papillon will tie the collection together.
