In an intimate interview with L&rsquo;Officiel Philippines, Verzosa shared her inspiration behind SOL&Aacute; and her journey as an entrepreneur. &ldquo;It was always a dream of mine to start my own business, producing products that not only I&rsquo;m proud of, but people would love to wear,&rdquo; she revealed.

&ldquo;With the PH market, I wanted to produce good quality products at an affordable price. Those were some of the goals for SOL&Aacute;."

The name "SOL&Aacute;" carries deep significance for Verzosa, symbolizing both independence and the sun, reflecting her vision of a brand that shines brightly in the market and can offer products that are &ldquo;out of this world.&rdquo;
Verzosa&rsquo;s experience as a beauty queen and actress has profoundly influenced her approach to entrepreneurship. She emphasized the importance of preparation, noting that the development of SOL&Aacute; took a year before its initial launch. &ldquo;To achieve the brand, it took over a year to finally release one collection. It&rsquo;s similar to preparing for pageantry or acting &ndash;&nbsp;it takes a lot of preparation,&rdquo; she shared. Discussing the design process, Kylie noted the differences between the women&rsquo;s and men&rsquo;s shapewear collections. "For women&rsquo;s shapewear, making it fit well on different body types was the most challenging part &ndash;&nbsp;choosing the right fabric, the stretch, the perfect proportions. For men&rsquo;s shapewear, there wasn&rsquo;t much out there to compare to. We focused on finding the right amount of compression."

&ldquo;The men&rsquo;s shapewear is an original design.&rdquo;

Balancing body positivity with the promotion of shapewear, Kylie explained, "The purpose of SOL&Aacute; is to make you feel more confident in your skin and body no matter what shape or size you are. [And] it&rsquo;s [just] a really nice piece to wear."
The feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive. "We&rsquo;ve received a lot of feedback that it is really worth the hype, the price, and the quality,&rdquo; she proudly shares.

&ldquo;People say it lasts long and provides what it promises."

Finally, Kylie offered advice to aspiring entrepreneurs. "I would say to start, trust your vision, get a good team behind you, and understand that it&rsquo;s going to take time. Find the right team to support you and believe in your vision. You will face obstacles, but it&rsquo;s all part of the learning process. Don&rsquo;t be afraid to take risks &ndash;&nbsp;it will be worth it."
