Presented in Corsica, Simon Porte Jacquemus' latest collection looks to childhood memories, Mediterranean summers, and the beauty of living in the moment.

For Spring/Summer 2027, Simon Porte Jacquemus returned to where everything began: the Mediterranean. Staged along the coastal path leading to the Pietra lighthouse in L'Île-Rousse, Corsica, Le Bonheur unfolded against a backdrop of sea breeze, morning light, and rugged coastline. More than a runway show, it was a reflection of a slower, simpler way of living.
The collection draws from some of the designer's earliest memories—summers spent by the sea with his mother, where, as he recalls, he had "never seen her happier." Those moments shaped every look, creating a wardrobe that captures the freedom of holidays, the warmth of the sun, and the ease of long summer days.

"I imagined this collection as the embodiment of summer," Jacquemus said. "The sun, the colors, the beauty of simple things, that feeling of lightness. To me, that's happiness."
That sense of lightness runs throughout the collection. Jacquemus' signature volumes feel more restrained this season, with oversized pleated trousers, ruffled skirts, sheer dresses, and airy silhouettes that seemed to move effortlessly with the Corsican wind. Sport remains part of the brand's DNA, but it's approached with more refinement. The classic tank top appears in ultra-thin leather, crepe, and organza finished using the Japanese shibori technique, introducing subtle texture without overwhelming the simplicity of the clothes.
Color plays an equally important role. Inspired by Mediterranean landscapes, soft pastels are punctuated with brighter shades throughout the collection. A silk-and-wool trench appears in vivid yellow, a bright green shirt energizes a flecked wool jacket, a fine orange line traces the hem of tailored trousers, while an aquamarine crepe tube dress recalls the changing colors of the sea. Each look feels tied to a different moment of the day, from sunrise to sunset.
The fabrics reinforce that feeling of weightlessness. Layers remain light, sequins add a gentle shimmer to tanks, miniature hats lend a playful touch, and ballet flats continue the story first introduced through the Jacquemus × Nike Moon Shoes. Together, the collection evokes the effortless elegance of a Mediterranean beach café as the sun begins to set.

Behind that simplicity lies meticulous craftsmanship. Returning to the foundations of his brand, Jacquemus revisits the bras, cropped tops, and clean silhouettes that defined his earliest collections, this time backed by years of technical expertise. Embroidery gives way to construction, feathers disappear into the garments' volumes, leather takes on textures inspired by fruits and vegetables, and draping introduces a softer movement without sacrificing precision.
"I wanted to go back to what I was doing 15 or 16 years ago, but with the know-how we have today," the designer explained.
That philosophy runs through the entire collection. Nothing feels excessive. Details reveal themselves gradually, finishes replace ornamentation, and luxury comes through craftsmanship rather than spectacle.
The collection also reflects a more personal chapter in Jacquemus' life. The designer shared that his children, Mia and Sun, have changed the way he thinks about color, encouraging him to embrace brighter shades and create yellow, red, striped, and polka-dot shoes made to be worn all the way to the beach.
As the Corsican wind swept through the runway and occasionally disrupted the show, Jacquemus summed up the spirit of Le Bonheur with a simple observation: "It's not the perfection we imagined, but at the same time, it's life."
That may be the collection's greatest strength. Instead of chasing perfection, Le Bonheur embraces the fleeting beauty of summer, where light, movement, and authentic moments matter more than anything else.
