<div data-pm-slice="0 1 []" data-en-clipboard="true">Through merging dynamism and function, Homme Pliss&eacute; Issey Miyake's Spring 2022 collection, titled <em>Human Ensemble,</em> empowers the human body. Each creation symbolizes the harmonious relationship between the wearer and their garments; imbued with flexible modernity, this new offering hones in on the brand's commitment to everyday living.&nbsp;</div>

<div data-pm-slice="1 1 []" data-en-clipboard="true">The BODY ARCH series mirrors the human silhouette, beginning with a nude color palette reminiscent of skin tones. The pants' curved folds intersect its ridged, straight, pleated lines to achieve a three-dimensional effect.</div>

<div data-pm-slice="1 1 []" data-en-clipboard="true">The sharp angles, bold lines, and slanted creases of the OBLIQUE series create a sense of rigidness to juxtapose the soft texture of recycled polyester yarn. In contrast, the INLAID KNIT series consists of minimal designs and distinct silhouettes created with a seamless knit technology that allows for better visibility of subtle textures done in soft camel and powder blue hues.</div>

<div data-pm-slice="1 1 []" data-en-clipboard="true">The print series, BODY MOVEMENT, plays with the element of illusion. Each creation is composed of multiple curves, illuminated by a backdrop drawn with paint and sand. As the wearer moves, the strokes' sandy texture is seemingly animated.</div>

<p>Based on the <i>karamiori </i>technique<i> </i>(a category of Japanese leno weaves), a vertical stripe pattern envelopes the LENO STRIPE designs to enliven the textural qualities of the weaves. In the STRETCH SHIRT series, the understated characteristics of elastic fabric are emphasized. Its gentle sheen and depth of color bring a new aesthetic perspective to elasticity. Optimistic, color-blocked compositions take the form of vibrant shoes in DECK'N COURT, the continued collaboration between Homme Pliss&eacute; Issey Miyake and Wakouwa.</p>
