Each garment in the line challenges the visual stereotypes associated with sustainable fashion, by combining a flamboyant spirit and a sense of youthful optimism with maximized versatility. Every piece was created to function in multiple manners, all made from materials like Eastman Naia&trade; Renew cellulosic fiber, which is produced from sustainably sourced wood pulp and plastic waste, and Vegea&trade;, an inventive vegan material made from grape skin fibers, seeds, and stalks discarded during the winemaking process.

The Innovation Circular Design Story collection is the latest addition to H&amp;M&rsquo;s Innovation Stories, a groundbreaking new sustainability initiative that focuses on forward-thinking ideas and innovative fabrications. Visually, it&rsquo;s an eclectic line, boasting both dramatic volume and second-skin silhouettes. There are strong shapes &mdash; dresses surrounded by a spherical spotlight of tulle or decorated with undulating frills &mdash; as well as bodycon, via tight bodysuits and clingy jersey. Every mood is catered to: find slouchy-cool hoodies and puffers or glamorous party pajamas and fully sequined gowns and capes. Colors are bright, demanding attention. A key palette is the range of reds and pinks, where soft bubblegum transitions to shocking fuchsia and bright cherry. There are also accents of Klein blue, and restrained anchors of black and cream.

Festive as it is, circularity prevails even in the tiniest details. Used to attach glass beads is the Resortecs&reg; smart stitch, a dissolvable sewing thread, which allows garments to be easily taken apart to facilitate material reuse when they finally reach the end of their life cycle; other embellishments are attached via patches, so they can be removed when the garment is ready for recycling. Sequins do not feature metallic coatings, as a consideration taken to maximize recyclability potential. Here is proof that it&rsquo;s possible to party responsibly.
