Established in 2006, the label has always been rooted in restraint, intention, and a deep appreciation for the quiet power of design. Each piece in the collection feels like a quiet meditation on texture, time, and restraint. Let&rsquo;s talk about your latest collection for your brand, CELESTINA. What were your inspirations for it?
This collection was inspired by the natural world and the intimacy of the everyday... things around me that are often overlooked but hold so much beauty. I wanted to reflect that sense of calm and grounded elegance in each piece.
What piqued your fascination with the silhouettes, textures, and materials you&rsquo;ve used in this collection?
I&rsquo;ve always been drawn to organic shapes and raw materials&mdash; forms that feel alive and quietly powerful. The materials I used felt honest and elemental, echoing the language of nature and the timelessness I strive for in my work.
What was the most fascinating part of this collection&rsquo;s creation process? Any interesting stories to share about it?
The intricate dyeing process of the leather was especially captivating. Layer by layer, the color deepens until it reaches&nbsp;the perfect hue. It&rsquo;s a slow, intentional art form that reflects our commitment to patience and precision.

Could you tell us more about your brand and how it&rsquo;s evolved through the years since its birth in 2006? What are your dreams for it?
CELESTINA has always been a quiet pursuit of beauty and purpose. Since 2006, the brand has evolved from curiosity into clarity, becoming more refined, but never losing the sense of wonder that started it all. My hope is for the pieces to continue being passed on, cherished, and lived with.
You&rsquo;ve had such a storied, illustrious career. Could you tell us a little bit about your background?
I began as a model, which gave me an early appreciation for form, movement, and style. Over time, that evolved into design and business. CELESTINA became the bridge where those worlds met. It&rsquo;s been a journey shaped by curiosity and a deep love&nbsp;for craftsmanship.

How has your design perspective shifted or remained since your last release?
My perspective has become even more focused on restraint...&nbsp;dialing down to what truly matters.The core remains the same: to create with intention, to honor the material, and to allow the design to speak softly, but with clarity.

What are your long-term influences?
Nature has always been a guiding force for me. The way it shapes, erodes, softens, and surprises. Filipino craftsmanship, too, continues to ground me, reminding me of the value of time, patience, and skilled hands.
What are your current influences?
I find myself drawn to the in-between moments... shadows, textures, stillness. The idea that design doesn&rsquo;t need to be loud to be heard continues to influence how I create.
Your design philosophy in one sentence?
Design with restraint, craft with care, and always let the material and craftsmanship lead.
