Ferragamo continues its dialogue with the 1920s for Fall/Winter 2026. Under&nbsp;Maximilian Davis, the decade that marked the house&rsquo;s beginnings becomes less a reference point and more a living memory. This season, the speakeasy takes center stage, not just as an aesthetic cue, but as a metaphor for spaces where identities shift and hierarchies loosen after dark.
The collection is anchored in maritime codes. Naval uniforms are subtly undone, buttons displaced, closures left slightly open. Authority is softened, then reworked. Nautical knits are needle-punched to alter their texture, while workwear parkas are recast in textured nappa and lined in shearling. Utility remains visible, but elevated.

The theme of crossing water runs through the narrative. It mirrors the journey of Salvatore Ferragamo, who left Italy for America before returning home, and echoes Davis&rsquo;s own family history, from the Caribbean to Manchester. Movement becomes part of the silhouette, suggesting ambition, reinvention, and the search for something beyond the horizon.
Against that maritime restraint comes the energy of night. Slim metallic velvet dresses, floral jacquards, and evolving draped volumes recall the loosened elegance of the Roaring Twenties. Cocoon coats wrap elongated figures, creating contrast between structure and fluidity. The tension between day and night, discipline and release, runs throughout.
The palette feels filtered through time. Inspired by cubist-tinged watercolors and sepia surrealist photography, colors appear softened, almost aged. The historic &ldquo;Shell shoe,&rdquo; with its sole wrapping around the foot, informs curved sandals with hybrid heels that blend into wedge silhouettes.
For men, Oxfords are elongated and topstitched, a monk strap fastened with a Hug closure adds character, and a minimalist ankle boot keeps the line clean. In leather goods, a new graphic bag secured with a Gancini plaque appears in three sizes, while the Hug returns in updated colors. A crossbody utility bag pairs with a braided calfskin Hug pouch, reinforcing the mix of practicality and polish.
