Fashion Revolution marks its 10th anniversary with a 10-day celebration exploring fashion&rsquo;s role in driving social and environmental justice.

As a global movement geared towards sustainable fashion, Fashion Revolution has made it their mission to campaign for a clean, transparent, and accountable fashion system through research, education, and advocacy. For its 10th anniversary, this advocacy once again brings forth Fashion Revolution Week&ndash;an annual campaign that showcases a series of engaging local events across 75 countries, with this year&rsquo;s celebration centering around the theme &ldquo;How to be a Fashion Revolutionary&rdquo;.

From April 15 to 24, various events are set to take place within communities around the world&ndash;including the #WeAreFashionRevolution campaign on April 15th where Fashion Revolutionaries are encouraged to share their journey towards fashion activism, Mend In Public Day on April 20th where citizens are invited to join in protest against disposable fashion, and Remembering Rana Plaza on April 24th wherein the Fashion Revolution community offers the day to pay respects to the victims affected by the Rana Plaza disaster on April 24, 2013.

Here in the Philippines, Fashion Revolution has organized a series of events alongside local sustainable fashion brands and advocates in Manila, Cebu, and Davao. Everyone interested in learning about the country&rsquo;s fashion and textile industry can sign up to join the workshop titled &ldquo;Workshop on Philippine Textiles and Fashion Industry Roadmaps towards Sustainability and Circularity&rdquo; happening on April 17th at Ortigas, led by Prince Jimdel Ventura, Angel Conda, and Archelyn Sumampong. On April 19th, stylist and author Miss Kayce Leyco will be facilitating &ldquo;Fashion Revolution: How to be a Storyteller Workshop" and "Book Launch: Always be Chic by Miss Kayce&rdquo;, a workshop and book launch event exploring the art of storytelling through film, art, and the written word. This two-in-one event will be held at the SM Aura Premier and all interested creatives are invited to join.

The &ldquo;Mend in Public Day&rdquo; happening on April 20th at Ortigas will feature various workshops from local brands and designers including Twinkle Ferraren&rsquo;s Weaving workshop, Barrio Studios&rsquo; Visible Mending workshop, Re.Clothing&rsquo;s Embroidery workshop, Basically Borrowed&rsquo;s Clothing Swap event, Tanya Villanueva&rsquo;s &ldquo;Mend Bed&rdquo; art installation, and Moda Laya&rsquo;s Alteration Station. In Davao, Jesse Boga of Global Shapers Davao will be facilitating &ldquo;UNSTITCH: Sustainable Fashion Forum&rdquo;, a three-in-one activity happening on April 20th that features a public forum on fashion storytelling, a blogger showcase/runway, and a clothing swap party.&nbsp;
