<p>Ushering in a new wave of pandemic-era beauty pageants, 2021's edition of the Miss Universe Philippines competition was held in Bohol, with only a select handful of supporters present in the on-site audience. That didn't stop the nation from tuning in via livestream, though: thousands clamored in the stream's chat box, virtually cheering their bets on.</p>

<p>Devoted fans of the annual pageant's famed glitz and glamour will admit that their favorite part is always the much-awaited evening gown showcase &mdash; to that end, here, <em>L'Officiel Philippines</em> quickly recaps the top ten finalists showing off pieces by some of the country's best-known fashion designers.</p>

<p>The night closed with Miss Cebu City Beatrice Luigi Gomez winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 crown. She will go on to represent the country at this year's Miss Universe pageant, which is slated to be held in Eliat, Israel in December 2021.</p>
