The tie-up redefines giving vintage clothing new life.

At its core, Ersatz is a garment library built upon the idea of giving vintage designer pieces a new lease on life. As a project that operates on a curation and resale model, founders Julio del Prado and Cristina Gimenez have joined hands with Carmela Fortuna of upcycling specialist Ucycle to explore alternative ways of interacting with secondhand clothing.

By deconstructing and then rejoining a selection of pieces that have been kept stored in Ersatz's archives, this tie-up focuses on circular practices, aiming to create a mindful yet forward roster of offerings that employ Ucycle&rsquo;s distinct caliber of execution.
