Dries Van Noten announces his exit from his namesake brand. His last collection as a creative director will be the men's collection for the Spring-Summer 2025 season, scheduled for Paris Fashion Week.

The spotlight falls on Dries Van Noten , who today confirmed his exit from the fashion system. "I have been preparing for this moment for some time" the Belgian designer told WWD "and I feel that the time has come to make room for a new generation of talents to bring their vision to the brand." The Spring Summer 2025 men's collection will be his last fashion show which will be presented during Paris Fashion Week in June, after an incredible career of almost 40 years of activity in the industry. Various reports has confirmed that Dries Van Noten is looking for his successor to be the creative helm of the Belgian brand while the confirmation of his departure arrived this morning.
Unconventional and transversal. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Dries Van Nont worked as an independent designer for various clothing companies and as a buyer for his father's boutiques to pay for his fashion studies. After the incredible fashion show of the "Antwerp Six" (the collective of Belgian designers) in London in March 1986, in 1991 he presented his men's collection during Paris Fashion Week and only in 1993 did he debut with his first women's collection.

Sophisticated and decorative to the point of arousing wonder in the eyes of the public, his fashion leaves its mark without the need to undermine the fashion system. Large tailored jackets, prints in collaboration with artists, and dresses embellished with finishes, embroidery, and decorations created with folkloristic techniques. During his career as a designer, Dries Van Noten received several awards including the most important in 2008, the International Designer of the Year award given by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
Thus the curtain closes on Dries Van Noten, an era of decorativism, good taste, and elegant creativity. All that remains is to wait for men's fashion week in Paris to see his latest creations from the spring summer 2025 men's collection.
