Big bags are back and more stylishly functional than ever — and the COS Trullo large flap bag is leading the movement.

Any fashion girl would attest that big bags were not once as cool as they are now. Celine has revived and supersized its Luggage bag, while Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, Toteme, Stella McCartney and others have all made a case for shoulder bags and totes big enough to accommodate the realities of modern life — including, in some cases, your laptop. Balenciaga has also helped shape the moment with its coveted Rodeo bag, whose relaxed proportions and lived-in appeal have made it a reference point for the current appetite for oversized, understated handbags.&nbsp;
But getting your hands on a Blazy Chanel is another story. The Maxi Flap has developed a serious following, with reports of waitlists and customers struggling to secure particular versions of the bag.
There are, of course, alternatives. And perhaps the closest in spirit right now is the COS Trullo Oversized Flap Bag.

And that's perhaps why the Trullo has hit such a nerve. It's not a dupe or a copycat. It is simply a particularly ingenious interpretation of a silhouette that feels right for the moment.&nbsp;Just soft leather, an oversized proportion, a discreet metal clasp and a shape that feels universal enough to work with almost anything.
Maybe that's the most stylish thing about the big-bag comeback: it lets the girlies who put in the time and effort finally look as put-together and stylish as they aspire to be—without having to sacrifice the ability to carry their laptop, water bottle, makeup bag, and whatever else the day demands.
