Oversized silhouettes, bold prints, and streetwear-inspired layers set the tone for Charlotte Folk’s Hotel De Charlotte Folk.

What does the Charlotte Folk wearer look like? For designer and founder&nbsp;Jan Charlotte Venzon, they could be just anyone.
Opening the third night of Manila Fashion Week 2026, Charlotte Folk offered a cast of characters to Hotel de Charlotte Folk, transforming the runway into a grand hotel lobby as models walked with a wardrobe that could belong to the modern everyday dresser.&nbsp;&nbsp;
“It’s a fun way of showing that there isn’t just one way to wear CF or one version of the person who wears it,” Venzon said of the concept.

On the runway, garments arrived in proportions that favored ease over precision. Oversized and baggy silhouettes gave the collection an almost off-duty quality, while layers of street-style designs made the clothes feel more expressive.&nbsp;
Outerwear and elevated essentials were styled not just as functional additions, but as statements in themselves. A New York-inspired moto jacket was paired with a button down and boxer briefs; a full-zip pullover was worn over a washed denim set; and an oversized trench coat was paired with a cropped polo and mini skirt. Leather jackets, in particular, emerged as some of the strongest pieces in the lineup, coming in different shades for a more youthful feel while still bringing a tougher edge to the otherwise laidback looks.&nbsp;

Not only did each ensemble feel creatively considered, but they all suggested a wardrobe built around pieces that can be mixed and layered freely rather than worn in a single prescribed way.
Prints also appeared as a recurring motif in the collection. Camo patterns injected a utilitarian quality to the lineup, while animal prints added an irreverent edge to the collection’s everyday appeal. Blazers, both cropped and oversized, also came in different textures, giving the traditionally polished garments a more relaxed feel.

Beneath the leather, oversized proportions, and streetwear references is the philosophy that has defined Charlotte Folk from the beginning. “This collection celebrates diversity and individuality,” Venzon shared. “It’s inspired by our travels, the people we’ve met, Filipino artists, local culture, and even our tropical weather. We wanted to create pieces that feel effortless, versatile, and relatable while reflecting the many stories and perspectives that shape Charlotte Folk.”
The label describes its identity around elevated everyday essentials, drawing subtly from Filipino culture through local music, artists, the tropical climate, and the way people naturally express themselves through clothing, which ultimately makes the collection’s emphasis on everyday pieces feel even more intentional.

The show also became more than just a showcase, with&nbsp;Hotel de Charlotte Folk coming alive through a mix of fashion and music from Flow G and Skusta Clee. Thai actresses Lookmhee and Sonya also bookended the show as its opening and closing models, adding even more depth to the collection’s broader idea that there is no single archetype of the Charlotte Folk wearer, but a cast of personalities who can make the clothes their own.
“We take a lot of inspiration from the people around us and the community we’ve built. We listen to what they want, observe how they wear our pieces, and turn those ideas into collections that feel authentic to Charlotte Folk.” she shared.
At MNL Fashion Week 2026, Charlotte Folk proved that a wardrobe built for everyday does not have to be predictable. More importantly, this latest collection suggested that its strongest proposition may be the simplest one: Fashion does not have to tell you who to be. Sometimes, it only needs to give you enough room to figure it out for yourself.
