Chanel and Tribeca Film Festival gathered a powerful crowd in New York to celebrate&nbsp;Through Her Lens, the filmmaker program championing women and non-binary voices in film.

On June 6,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/tribecafilmfestival" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tribeca Film Festival</a>&nbsp;CEO and Co-Founder Jane Rosenthal and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/chanel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel</a>&nbsp;hosted an intimate lunch at The Greenwich Hotel Courtyard to honor&nbsp;Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women&rsquo;s Filmmaker Program, spotlighting the next generation of storytellers shaping the future of film.
Now in its 11th year, the initiative continues to empower emerging women and non-binary filmmakers through mentorship, industry access, and financial support. In her opening remarks, Rosenthal reflected on the program&rsquo;s evolution, crediting its roots to a shared vision with producer Paula Weinstein. &ldquo;What began as an idea between two friends has become one of the most vital artist&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/tribecafilmfestival" target="_blank" rel="noopener">development programs</a>&nbsp;in the industry,&rdquo; she said, adding heartfelt thanks to Chanel for their unwavering support.

Filmmaker and&nbsp;Through Her Lens&nbsp;Advisory Committee member Patty Jenkins echoed that sentiment: &ldquo;Storytelling is a profound responsibility... the most powerful thing I can do is what I&rsquo;ve been trained to do&mdash;tell a story.&rdquo;
The afternoon brought together a mix of influential figures in the industry, including&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/miley-cyrus-something-beautiful-film-album-press-looks-naked-sheer-dress" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Miley Cyrus</a>, Riley Keough,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/olivia-munn-people-interview-breast-cancer-john-mulaney-children" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Olivia Munn</a>, Parker Posey, Carrie Coon, and Lola Tung, among others. Together, they toasted to the program&rsquo;s impact: 45 films developed, multiple festival debuts at Sundance and TIFF, and a growing roster of alumni reshaping Hollywood&rsquo;s narrative landscape.
