Sophisticated and theatrical, the Haute Couture fall-winter 2024-25 collection presented by the Fashion Creation Studio combines the worlds of opera and couture.

This is the first collection presented by the House of Chanel since the sudden announcement of the departure of former creative director, <a href="https://www.lofficielph.com/fashion/virginie-viard-leaves-chanel-creative-director" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Virginie Viard</a>, earlier this month. The Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024-25 fashion show, which took place at the sublime and central Palais Garnier, was thus overseen by the Fashion Creation Studio before the announcement of the next artistic director. Things were thought out on a grand scale with a spectacular staging, in the opulence of the 19th century Parisian theater, which gave the impression of entering the famous painting In the Loge, painted by the impressionist artist Mary Cassatt in 1974, depicting a bourgeois woman at the opera looking through her opera glasses, while a man, in the background, observes her. In this case, everyone was a spectator of the parade, but also of the guests who rushed into the room around the balustrade
Then comes the fashion show &mdash; or should we say the ballet of Couture pieces &mdash; for which everyone has come to watch. We see a blazer with huge puffed sleeves, a jet black feather cape dotted with bits of gold, details such as the XXL black bows attached to the back of the head, without forgetting the highlight of the show &mdash; the bride, virginal as usual, dressed in an oversized white dress with puffy sleeves, a floral bodice adorned with jewels, and a trail of tulle around the waist, in homage to ballerinas.
