Nadine Lustre’s latest single and music video, Personal, sees the singer-actress embracing change and tuning out the noise through a series of metallic, sporty, and high-glamour looks.

Nadine Lustre has never been one to stay in one lane. From her beginnings as a member of Pop Girls to her solo work and Wildest Dreams, the singer has continued to shape a sound and image that feel distinctly her own.
With Personal, Nadine steps into a new chapter with a track that is equal parts confident, playful, and unapologetic.
The song is a response to the noise that comes with being in the spotlight, centered on refusing to let other people's opinions get under her skin.
If they think she changes too much, Nadine is perfectly happy to prove them right: As she sings, “They say I’m always changing, well I’m supposed to.”
The music video brings that attitude to life through a series of looks that move between metallics, athleticwear, and barely-there glamour.
When Nadine told stylist Lyn Alumno that she wanted to do a boxing-themed music video, the first image that came to mind was Jean-Paul Goude’s 1978 photograph of Grace Jones, where the singer appears sweaty and fierce in a cropped top and red boxing trunks.

“It was striking and feminine at the same time, so I started building from there,” Alumno says.
Alumno also looked at Angelina Jolie’s Lara Croft, Charlie’s Angels, Rihanna’s Puma x Fenty collections, and Chanel and Dior from the early 2000s.

The first look comes in silver. Nadine wears a metallic bandeau accessorized with multiple watches interlinked by @thefutureisyou, paired with matching shorts and white heeled boots. Layered over it is a distressed white cropped top from Vietnamese brand Fanci Club, with its loose fabric wrapping around her torso. Reflective textures give the look a futuristic edge, while the undone layering keeps the silhouette playful.
Nadine appears with wet hair slicked away from her face, letting her beauty take center stage. Her skin is luminous and bronzed, with softly defined eyes and a glossy nude lip. The result feels fresh and effortless, almost as if she has just stepped out of the ring.

In the locker room, Nadine trades silver for black. A sheer sleeveless top with a subtle shimmer is paired with red Nike Pro shorts, white hand wraps, and black lace-up boots. The contrast between the delicate transparency of the top and the tougher boxing details gives the look its edge.
The sportswear was a new direction for them. “She wanted something we hadn’t done before. We do street style sometimes, but I don’t recall doing sportswear with her in recent years,” Alumno says.
Both she and Nadine are big Rihanna fans, so they looked at her Puma x Fenty collections, including the heels from the 2017–2018 collection worn throughout the video.

Then, as she gets ready to step into the ring, Nadine throws on an oversized gray windbreaker over her metallic layers.&nbsp;
The outfit is a mix of Nike, including a jacket from the Jacquemus collaboration, with customized shorts by Alumno’s team and jewelry by @cleomodaph2022.
Wraparound sunglasses and silver chains bring a dose of early 2000s attitude, while the red shorts tie the look back to the boxing motif. It is the kind of off-duty fighter look that feels ready for both the gym and the street.

Inside the boxing ring, she appears bruised and bloodied in red gloves and athletic shorts. The deliberately raw beauty look makes the scene feel even more visceral, with slick hair and glowing skin contrasting against the marks on her face. It echoes the song's refusal to be rattled by outside noise. “Can't get under my skin,” she sings.
Nadine wears a chainmail bra by women-owned brand @darlinnomercy, paired with Stella McCartney x Adidas boxing shoes. “We tapped women-owned brands, which in a way reflects the message of the song,” Alumno says. She’s always been intentional about the designers and brands she works with, and is constantly looking for new names to discover.
For Personal, that meant mixing smaller labels with more familiar names throughout Nadine’s looks.

For the final look, Nadine goes for the knockout.&nbsp;
She slips into a deep crimson satin bodysuit traced with gold hardware and a delicate body chain, paired with towering black lace-up boots. After the cool silvers, grays, and whites of the earlier looks, the rich red arrives with unmistakable impact.

She then trades the crimson for a little ring-ready glamour. Nadine wears a structured white corset with black shorts detailed with silver accents, paired with white punching gloves and long black Puma socks. Black-and-white heels complete the look, adding a polished finish to its mix of sporty and structured details.
She dances across a table surrounded by judges in black suits, turning a conventional boxing setup into a full-blown fashion moment.

The beauty remains just as effortless throughout. Nadine keeps her skin luminous, her features softly bronzed, and her eyes subtly defined, finished with a glossy neutral lip. Her hair moves between wet, slicked-back textures and loose, undone waves add just enough attitude.
From silver to sweat, boxing gloves to gold chains, Personal turns fashion into another way for the singer-actress to make her point. She can change the look, change the mood, and change her mind.&nbsp;
And if anyone has something to say about it, well, she simply won't take it personal.
