Others brought up the possibility of stars taking a literal approach and presenting full-on Lagerfeld cosplay. As the night saw, no amount of guesses could have prepared us for what unfolded.

Proving that the night isn't over once the gala is complete, celebrities showed off their best looks while partying the night away at the Met Gala afterparties. From Kendall Jenner's sheer bodysuit and black thong to Kylie Jenner's take on the little black dress, the stars understood the assignment and delivered what they needed on the fashion front while enjoying the night at their post-Met Gala festivities.
