&nbsp;A new space for finding inspiration from places, stories, and experiences.

Founded in 2018 in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Saan Saan has been crafting small-batch, local, and handmade soy candles, incense, reed diffusers, soaps, and other implements to inspire slower, more mindful living. More than just a candle and retail brand, all scents are inspired by a sense of place, a destination, or a trip, drawn from the owner and candler Mark Zavalla&rsquo;s personal experiences, memories, or favorite passages in literature.

While the scents he creates produce &ldquo;a sense of place&rdquo; or evoke a feeling of being in a particular space and time, a physical encounter creates a more lasting appeal because they are multi-sensory encounters: visual, smell, touch. The studio designed by Arts Serrano of One Zero Design, aside from having a practical space where people can come over and smell the candles and scents in person, serves as a workshop-laboratory&ndash;the store also envisions engaging more people through candle-making workshops, more collaborative work with artists and other proudly local brands, and create an impact on the community. Expansion of the product line is definitely in the cards, as a full fragrance brand and explore more channels of home and even wearable scents.

Experience stories and sensory encounters at Saan Saan&rsquo;s Newest Studio located in GF, Ace Hotel and Suites, Kapitolyo, Pasig City. As they open it in time for the holidays, starting December 3, 2022, store hours are Tuesdays to Thursdays 11 am to 7 pm, and Fridays to Sundays 11 am to 8 pm.
