The final installment of the Bayaniverse is coming.

After Heneral Luna raged through the revolution and Goyo wrestled with disillusionment, Quezon arrives as the final chapter of TBA Studios&rsquo; Bayaniverse trilogy. Directed by Jerrold Tarog and starring Jericho Rosales in the titular role, the upcoming epic historical drama explores the life and legacy of President Manuel L. Quezon, from his rise to his battles, as well as the price of leading a fractured nation into uncertain modernity.
Here&rsquo;s everything we know so far about Quezon.

<h2>Quezon&nbsp;Cast</h2>

Jericho Rosales leads the film as Manuel L. Quezon, a role he describes as &ldquo;cunning, charming, and intelligent&rdquo;&mdash;far from a traditional heroic portrait. &ldquo;You will see Quezon as a person,&rdquo; he said in an official statement.
Returning cast members from the previous films include Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo and Arron Villaflor as Joven Hernando, with Cris Villanueva playing the older version of the latter. Benjamin Alves is back as the younger Quezon, while Karylle plays Aurora Quezon.
The ensemble also features JC Santos as Manuel Roxas and Romnick Sarmenta as Don Sergio Osme&ntilde;a Sr. whose relationship with Quezon becomes one of the film&rsquo;s emotional and political flashpoints.
One of the most talked-about additions is Game of Thrones&rsquo; Iain Glen, who plays Leonard Wood, the American governor-general entangled in the rift between Quezon and Osme&ntilde;a.

<h2>Quezon&nbsp;Plot</h2>

Set during the tense decades leading up to World War II, Quezon traces the rise of the Commonwealth's first president, from his youthful ambitions to his wartime leadership. But instead of glorifying Quezon, the film aims to dissect him.
According to Rosales, the film will explore Quezon&rsquo;s contradictions, including his brilliance, charm, political savvy, and moral gray areas. Expect a layered biopic that questions power as much as it portrays it.

TBA Studios has confirmed that Quezon will premiere in the Philippines on October 15, 2025. An international release will follow.
