Despite being a public figure, whose every move is heavily scrutinized, Nadine makes it a point to share only what&rsquo;s authentic to her to her fans and followers. Making sure to express her real self, even in sponsored posts, the multihyphenate is not afraid to share unfiltered and raw moments on social media. In fact, it&rsquo;s these posts that allow her fans to feel more connected to her.&nbsp;

We sat down with Nadine and she shared how she stays true to herself online and in real life.&nbsp;

One of the most followed Filipinas on Instagram, she considers staying authentic as her mantra whether offline or online. &ldquo;I feel great! It&rsquo;s nice to know that I am being admired for being myself,&rdquo; Nadine shared.

Now based in Siargao Island, Nadine gained a lot of admiration and shock, if we are being honest, for her courage for showing a more laid-back, stripped down version of herself in the Island. But it is what makes Nadine so dear to her Filipino fans as she shows that no celebrity is picture-perfect day in, day out. That at the end of the day, celebrities like her are just like anyone.&nbsp;

A lot of young Filipinos are struggling with self-expression especially in the very cluttered world of social media where likes and comments have now become the currency for your level of relevance, Nadine is able to relate perfectly. &ldquo;As long as you&rsquo;re not hurting anyone, you do you,&rdquo; she says. Nadine shares that she&rsquo;s had the same struggles before and had to go through a lot of self-affirmation to get to where she is. &ldquo;I believe that there&rsquo;s no reason to be afraid to show the real you in your own space. While you feel that some people may not like what they&rsquo;ll see, remember that social media isn&rsquo;t always real.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Nadine has been sharing her life to her fans through her Instagram feed, since her breakout film Diary ng Panget came out and it has been a whirlwind of beautiful emotions at a glance. Apart from being a popular celebrity that everyone wants to keep up with, Nadine&rsquo;s social media has always been interesting and well curated as her content touches not just on memorable moments of her life but also her interest points captured or curated artistically.

&ldquo;I&rsquo;ve always been particular with colors. I plan my feed just to make sure the photos all look good together. I like being creative and exploring new things. Color coordinating was also a good practice for me for interior and fashion.&rdquo;
