60 years ago, when Jimi Hendrix arrived in London and began his solo career, his first onstage performance with a Marshall amplifier marked a new chapter in music history.

Now, 60 years after that historic moment, the legacy of the guitar sound that tore through the air at Woodstock and Monterey no longer lives only on legendary stages. It is ready to enter your living room through the limited-edition Marshall x Hendrix™ collection, bringing original sound together with a distinctly psychedelic lifestyle.
These are not simply audio devices. They are works of art celebrating Hendrix’s timeless aesthetic, from his passionate love of the color purple and “Purple Haze” to his fascination with the vastness of the universe.

If your living space needs a Rock ’n’ Roll statement that is still refined enough, the limited-edition Acton III Hendrix™ is the perfect piece. Moving away from conventional covering materials, the speaker is dressed in smooth velvet fabric, a direct tribute to Hendrix’s flamboyant yet romantic fashion style.

Combined with a silver-toned control panel, metal-plated knobs, and a mysterious purple LED light, the Acton III feels like a piece of furniture carrying the spirit of the 1960s. Most notably, a silver All-Seeing Eye emblem appears on the side of the speaker as a statement of a musical vision ahead of its time.
With a simple flick of the switch, you are immediately greeted by a startup sound featuring a rare instrumental recording of “Have You Ever Been (To Electric Ladyland).” Close your eyes, and it feels as though you are stepping into the legendary Electric Lady studio with your idol himself.

There are also moments when you may simply want to curl up on the sofa and lose yourself in the haunting riffs of “Voodoo Child.” The Major V Hendrix™ headphones were made for moments like these.
With their signature compact and durable design but now dressed in an elegant black finish, the Major V hides its rebellious side within. Lift the ear cushions and look at the inside of the headband, and a captivating purple oil-slick pattern with a distinctly psychedelic character stretches across the surfaces, accompanied by the proud All-Seeing Eye emblem.
With battery life lasting for days on a single charge, the journey into Hendrix’s musical world will never be interrupted.

If Hendrix embodied freedom, then the Emberton III is Marshall’s way of letting that spirit accompany you wherever you go. Covered across its grille and casing in a hypnotic purple oil-slick pattern, this portable speaker is a true statement of individuality.
The best part? Thanks to a hand-applied hydro-dipping technique on the silicone shell, every Emberton III in the collection is unique, with no two speakers featuring exactly the same color pattern. It is much like the way Hendrix never played the same solo exactly the same way twice.
Accented by a silver-toned control knob and purple LED light, this compact speaker is ready to fill any campsite or gathering with vivid, original sound.
More than audio equipment, the Marshall x Hendrix™ collection is a lifestyle symbol, a piece of history for free spirits and those who value the true worth of music.

Speaking about this historic collaboration, Terry Marshall, co-founder of Marshall Amplification, said: “Jimi was a formidable musician, a real force of nature. He took everything to a new level and carried everybody with him. When he played, it was an emotional time for everybody because everyone was thinking, if he can do it, I could maybe do it. And he’s using Marshall, therefore we want Marshall. It was a really special time for us all and there’s no doubt that we grew with him and his fame, it was a natural tie-up.”
The rest, as they say, is history.
