One Battle After Another dominated the night, while Timoth&eacute;e Chalamet and Jessie Buckley took home the top acting honors as awards season officially kicked into gear.

Voted on by a jury of more than 500 television critics and journalists, the 31st Critics Choice Awards were held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and offered an early snapshot of how the awards season may shape up. The ceremony confirmed a clear front-runner, rewarded a mix of prestige titles and crowd-pleasers, and set the tone for the months ahead.
The big winner of the night was One Battle After Another, Paul Thomas Anderson&rsquo;s thriller, which took home Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay, positioning itself as one of the year&rsquo;s strongest awards contenders.

In the acting categories, Timoth&eacute;e Chalamet won Best Actor for Marty Supreme, while Jessie Buckley claimed Best Actress for her performance in Hamnet. Guillermo del Toro&rsquo;s Frankenstein also had a strong showing, earning Jacob Elordi a supporting acting win alongside several technical awards.
On the television side, Netflix&rsquo;s Adolescence emerged as the most awarded miniseries, while HBO Max&rsquo;s The Pitt secured the night&rsquo;s top TV honor, Best Drama Series. Taken together, the results offered a clear early map of the season&rsquo;s power players.
